My Walmart is not letting people with wristbands leave and if you do, they are removing the wristband. They said they would also be checking people coming in to make sure they didn't have wristbands and if they do, they are removing them as well. Not sure how they are going to do this logistically, but that's what I was told.

My husband is in radio and he is always doing live broadcasts from car dealers on Black Friday and Saturday. Generally the sales aren't much different than any other sale.

I worked stock for Kmart in the late 90s and always knew where things were when the shelf was empty and the RMU said we had x number. I never understood why this is such an issue for Walmart. I waited 30 minutes for them to find curtains in the back one time! They has the head manager looking too.

If I'm not mistaken, maps came out the 19th last year and Thanksgiving was the 22nd. I wouldn't expect them much before the week of Thanksgiving/Black Friday, maybe the 26th.

They stop handing out guarantee cards at 7pm. Last year at my walmart there was still a line of people outside an hour after they opened. So I'm thinking if you aren't at least in the store by 7 you are out of luck. Also, what if you are in the store by say 6:30 but there is a line to get the tv/guarantee card and you don't get to the front of that line until 7:05? Just wondering I've never waited for those types of items but might this year.Last year in our store, the lines moved fast. I was able to get both of the big ticket items I wanted by myself. We have a 24/7 Walmart so there were no outside lines. The longest line I waited in was the checkout line! Lol

I had a $10 coupon, but I think that's because our one Kohls was new last year.

Why bother? It's a guarantee stock item. Unless you need it that day, I don't see a reason to even line up.

Last year the Tidy Cat litter also had an unadvertised $4 instant savings, so it was about $3.49. I got 25 pails and still have 12 left. Wonder if the deal will be similar this year?

I just got emailed a $40 off any Kindle deal on Friday, so I picked up a Paperwhite for $80. I had been looking for something a little smaller and lighter than my iPad to read books on while traveling. This is the best price I have seen.
