  1. Just a heads up... Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT, use Graebel!!!! After my mom passed, we moved my father back to PA from NC. The movers took almost 12 hours to load the truck (everything was already packed). The delivery was supposed to be on a Sunday. Well, my dad gets a call that Saturday saying that the truck broke down and it wouldn't be here until Wednesday. The main office calls him Monday to see how the delivery WENT and when he told them what happened they had no clue! Wednesday comes and no truck. The driver calls that evening to get directions with absolutely no explanation for the delivery not taking place. He states he will be here around 8am on Thursday. Well, he ends up getting here at 12:30pm because he states he missed the GIANT exit sign. He would not have been here on time anyway because the detour took him only an extra hour. The guys that came to unload the truck did not speak ANY English and nobody that was home/the driver spoke Spanish. Until I got home (I speak functional Spanish), all the boxes were just sat in the house wherever. In the end, a lot of my mother's fine china was broken due to the load shifting when he dropped off another delivery. In addition, some of the legs on the furniture were broken due to the same reason. They refused to do much about any of the damage. I think my dad ended up with $200 back. They were unapologetic and had VERY poor customer service.
  2. Quality wise, I have had both a Dell and a Compaq and I would never, ever buy a Compaq again. I had nothing but problems with it. I have had my Dell for 4 years, paid a little over $500 for it and it will run almost anything. (It shocked the fiancee when he could run Microsoft Flight Simulator X off it no problem!) This is just my opinion and I am sure others have had different experiences. Of course, with kids downloading stuff and all, that tends to make the computer run slower with all the clicking of "ok" without reading. :) I'm speaking from experience with the step-children. (They've had 4 computers in 3 years...)
  3. My fiancee and I are DJs on top of our regular job, so planning our wedding has been fairly easy. It's not until 10/10/09, but I already am about 60% done with everything. We're doing it for $5000. Here's what we have so far: Ceremony/Reception Site (at one place): $900 (brand new building at a golf course near us). Caterer: $1800 (feeding ~150, buffet style, 3 main dishes, 2 veggies, a starch, fruit, salad, etc. Fiancee has known them for 20 years and we are their recommended DJs) Cakes: We're doing centerpiece cakes, so it'll come to about $150-$200. Invitations: Printing our own without a kit ~$50. My dress: looking at spending ~$200, going to BridalMart in NC with my aunt for this one. Brdiesmaids: Well, I found the dress I want for them, now to find it about 75% off is the key! Groomsmen: May go with just nice suits depending on my dress. My brother will be in his military uniform. Music: We're pre-programming everything and another friend who is a DJ will MC, so it's free. Photography: Fiancee's daughter's boyfriend (future husband) is a photographer, so that's free also. Just have to pay for prints. The only major thing that I feel I haven't figured out is flowers and decorations, but I'll do that closer to the date. Also, we have to provide out own alcohol, which is a BIG money saver. My hint is to have a few common mixed drinks (Vodka/Tonic, Rum/Coke, etc), one or two beers (in kegs), and a red and white wine (not in boxes!!!) :) I've seen a lot of weddings through DJing and it has allowed me to see the good, bad, and just plain ugly!
  4. Well, it's a long story, but I ordered the 2 PJs on clearance and got the fragrance set and lip gloss free (along with $5 off my order). So my total was $34.xx. This was on Xmas eve. That Saturday, I got notification that my order had shipped (mind you the warehouse is in Horsham, PA, about a 45 minutes drive for me...). Then on Sunday I get an email saying that the one pair of PJs were discontinued. I called CS and they told me that they still had 7 pairs of them and she would 3 day me one. I told her I wasn't confidant that I would get one of the seven and switched the style of PJ to one they had more of. I then get an email on Wednesday stating a style of PJs I never ordered would not ship. (The CS put the wrong code in.) I call CS and the guy fixes it, tells me I already have a certificate coming for $33.xx, and gives me my Customer/Order Numbers. I check to make sure everything looks right and it does. Well, I check again on Friday and the only thing on the order is the discontinued PJs in the style I never ordered!!! I call AGAIN and the guy FINALLY knew what he was doing. He refunded the original PJs that were discontinued and ordered me the ones I told the woman in the first call I wanted. So, my order was $34.xx, I got a certificate for $33.xx, and was refunded $19.99. A lot of hassle, but worth it for free PJs!!!
  5. No, I got mine today actually. And after everything, VS ended up paying me $19.99 for my order of 2 pairs of PJs, the fregrance set, and lip gloss!
  6. I would only be disappointed if I had paid full price. I would never pay $29.50 for a t-shirt that I could get at Target for $8.00, but through the sale that was on before Xmas I got a whole bunch of their t-shirts for $4-$6. The ones I received fit very well and are extremely soft.
  7. Thanks! I'll try Game Stop. I figured I would have to pay full price, but I thought I would give it a shot.
  8. Hi all! My fiance's soon-to-be 11 y.o. dd wants Nintendogs for her birthday (in less than a week). I did some online research and found they are about $30 everywhere. Does anyone know of a deal in-store anywhere that might be going on? Thanks in advance!
  9. I ordered the Sandisk Sansa mp3 player from them and it took close to a month to receive it. But it was worth the wait.
  10. I don't think it's that their prices are better, but that their selection is better online. However, you have to deal with VS's horrendous service with things being in-stock when you order them, then out-of-stock AFTER they report it being shipped, the wrong things being shipped, not being able to return things to the store, etc. But if it's worth it, I ordered online and ended up getting two pairs of PJs, a perfume set, and lip gloss all free due to their constant screwing up of my order!
  11. I was there today and they had a lot left, but they were in two big piles. (One PINK, one Signature Cotton) It was a little tricky finding the size and style I needed, but I found ten and got out quick because it was madness.
  12. For the Birkenstocks - I looked at the pricing and avail. chart and the only ones that are around $25 are the Dark Brown 35N EU and 36R EU. The rest are about $70 and up, with most being around $100. Too bad they don't have my size because I live in these all summer long!

  14. It worked for me for all of the items using the search box. Must have been a fluke!
  15. I'm not the original poster but I got free shipping on my items also. It just came up that way. Maybe it's a zip code thing? It seems to always be free for me at Staples.com.
  16. Thanks! I figured out that if you put in a quantity of more than 4, than you pay regular price for each one.
  17. Are the tank PJs on sale also? If so, what's the catalogue number? Thanks!
  18. I just saw this exact player (with the $15 iTunes gift card) on clearance at Target for $67.00. It was the breast cancer awareness one.
