I am definitely in the minority and don't want summer to go away! lol I love the heat...and humidity! I know, I'm weird. September started super crappy for me as one of our cats passed away. She was "my girl" so it's especially hard. I'm glad she's no longer suffering, but I miss her little quirks. The other cats aren't sure what's going on because the cat that passed was definitely boss lady. They keep looking for her to make sure she's not going to jump out and smack them. lol I'm not really even thinking about gifts yet. I don't have many people to buy for, so it's usually all done around BF.

We still have 2 left in Raleigh. I find that I can often find lots of stuff on clearance for cheap there because nobody shops at either. They still have a few aisles of pools stuff left, where Target and Walmart are out of everything at this point.

I am putting the deposit down for our new in ground swimming pool today. I have to start stocking up on pool stuff while it's clearance, so I can be ready for the spring! So excited!!! (And for those of you that have a pool, feel free to make suggestions on good toys, floats, etc.)

Hit Kohls up this weekend because I had a $10 promotional gift because of being in their test area for their new rewards program. I snagged an $85 Baggallini crossbody bag for 69 cents! It was an online exclusive (and I think mis-marked). Great way to kick off the month of June!

I am in a pilot program area. They sent me a new credit card to go with the program. To me, it seems pretty similar to the points, just wrapped up a different way.

Orange is my favorite color, so I'd be all over that. I prefer a subtler orange than neon tho. lol

Yay for May and warm weather....finally!!! NC is about to go from winter to summer. I hope I don't have to kick the AC on - that will depend on the humidity. I'm just glad to be past pine pollen season.

We were one of the two test stores for these and had one for over a year (I'm in Wake Forest, NC area). Several of my gifts last year had to be picked up at the tower and it was a fiasco. I spent over an hour in the store, being sent from the tower to the layaway area back to the tower, etc. There was a rep from the tower maker there and some higher ups from Walmart and the whole situation was super embarrassing to them (not enough to throw me a gift card or something tho lol). I haven't used it since, but it sounds like they have worked out the kinks and it was successful enough to expand their usage.

This Alexa info is very useful! We keep ours out on the porch because that's where we spend most of the time, but I often have to open the back door to ask her something. Think it might be soon time for a second device.

Computer gurus: Thoughts on the $499 gaming desktop on page 2? My husband used to love to play Flight Simulator, but our current comp can't handle it. Is this a good deal for the specs? Also, does he really need a gaming monitor? lol TIA
