Nothing very exciting at my store this morning (had to make another trip back- discovered an entire bottle of laundry detergent spilled in my Durango this morning! Ugh) They were, however, pretty much resetting the entire store for christmas. Maybe some more clearance will come out of it :)

All Halloween at 50% off at my store- got some Dixie plates and some plastic silverware but skipped the candy- trying to lose weight before Florida in January! =)

My son says they sound much better than other cheaper ones (he is 14). Other than that, I cant comment on quality. I can say though that this is a popular brand with teenagers and definitely worth the prices on this sale for cool factor.

Says it is temporarily out of stock for shipping but they will email with an estimate ship date so I placed an order for one- hopefully it will come in time =)

I have a wireless home security system, but it was out of necessity as my "office" is separate from the main house. We have had to replace batteries but it was no big deal- in fact, it sends them a message type thing and they called us and told us that was what the beeping was. If you live in my area of colorado I could give you a great contractor that installs ADT systems but not ADT prices.... (the $99 specials are great, but very basic- we opted to have way more stuff than a $99 special would have given us and the quote was about $800! So we were referred by a friend to this contactor that does the ADT installs but you get special rates through the other insteall companies)

Gookie Cookies Boil together for one minute: 2 c sugar 1/3 c cocoa 1/4 lb margarine 1/2 c milk Add 1/2 c peanut butter. Stir until desolved. Add 3 1/2 c quick oats and 1 tsp vanilla Drop by teaspoonful onto wax paper (quickly so they dont harden) and let dry. This is my son's favorite!

Well, here we go again with the Xbox 360. My son's dad (probably- he did something really lame and I think he is feeling bad so being nice) has finally told my son that he will send in their broken Xbox 360 and get it fixed (RROD) and then give it to my son, so that is off his list (for now- hoping it wont be the day before xmas and I find out it is not happening). He also says he can have all their games, and I think there are a lot. Which is really great, saves me a ton of money, but here's the catch- I have been hitting it hard shopping lately and scoring deals and now I dont know which games he has!! ARGH! I told him to make me a list, but some were clearance, some with gift codes (like amazon), I even ordered one this afternoon with the gift code I won from Sears. I know I shouldnt complain, but now my whole plan is messed up! And now hubby says a new nicer tv would be a good present for him instead, and I am so not standing in line for a week to get one!!!!

Lots of kitchen stuff clearanced today- peelers, grapefruit knives, garlic press, etc. 085050080 Stanley 3-in-1 tripod light was 29.99 now 7.48 (it had two cool lights in it) 085050071 Stanley utility knife was approx $6, now 1.37 (great stocking stuffer for hubby- his is always AWOL when we need it!) Also, overheard the manager instructing someone that starting Monday/Tuesday they are super smooshing the Halloween stuff down into less aisles and Friday want it mostly gone, so maybe clearance will start quickly!

Ooh- keep us filled in if it works? I had an ice cream maker but decided the salt and ice was a PITA, so got rid of it.

I have noticed lately that they are moving clearance stuff a lot- I wonder if it is to see if a different location will move it out? (The Xbox 360 game I was looking for this weekend that was on clearance for 14.98 from 59.99 had been in the electronics dept- I got there Sunday and it was gone, along with all of the games that had been there. I was super bummed. But I happened to go down the back of the CD's/DVD's part and they had been moved to there!!!)

I will try and keep my eye out for this for ya- went through this with Darth Maul years ago for my sons b-day! Ended up getting one from a co-workers desk collection because they were sold out everywhere =)

nice =) When I went to Safeway the other day, they had started doing this too- they even went so far as to bring me a nickel at self-checkout when they noticed my resusable bag!

There was an xbox 360 game today that my son pointed out- originally 59.99 now 15.98- I have been ignoring it because I didnt think it was one he would like but he said he wants it- now I will have to go back later and hope it is still there!

Our dogs totally get presents! We have a German Shep. and a muttly cattle dog/GS mix.... they get stockings, and this year probably beds or blankies. The GS though always snoops and finds their stuff under the tree!! I like Target dollar spot pet stuff- ours go through toys like crazy so the cheaper the better. Also, Target had loofa dogs for $1 last fall/winter, pretty decent size ones too. They also had the big rope toys for $1 (the ones that are about 10 bucks at petsmart)
