Greetings! Well, it is the day after the election, and I have only an hour's sleep including a full day at work. I want to very carefully slip these two ads in this time slot tomorrow, unless a larger ad takes precedence. I am so excited to see what the big three have to offer! We have many requests for 4k televisions this year, given the high expectations of the forecasts and when we know what they finally have to offer, you can make your best plan for the shopping season! I am also happy that the Xbox one S is being offered in many different bundles this season. If you are not familiar with this upgrade, it can be the perfect 4k companion to your new 4k HDTV! We have seen it offered with a movie, extra controller, extra game and a larger storage capacity at Walmart just this week. Some things just couldn't get any better this season. If these ads are important to you, do not worry. We will get to them. I am also awaiting the the big Toys R Us ad this year. I may be old, but grandpa needs some great toy deals this year!

I would think that Thursday or Friday when America has had a chance to settle down a bit.

Why on earth is Dollar General open at all on Thursday?

I will say that the general attitude towards anything that even resembles a coupon on Black Friday turns shoppers off. It does not matter whether it is Khol's cash or CVS extra bucks. When the consumer is forced to lay down more money up front, even if the delayed return is good, does not end up being a good strategy for a store. When stores finally "get it" that consumers want to spread their money around and experience more of Black Friday with fewer greenbacks, then and only then will the consumer feel that they have indeed been appreciated.

My guess is that they feel as if they have to. Kmart used to be the king of the Thursday Pre-Black Friday fix, so perhaps they believe that they will somehow slide into that position. We noticed that there are no promotional items this year .

All of this election talk makes me want to Make Black Friday Great Again, but with all of the wonderful friends and Brad at the helm, it always has been great!

I am new to these, but have the oil-less turkey fryer. We love it, but have not attempted anything other than a turkey breast and a baking chicken yet. Both came out crispy and delicious. I am planning to use it at Best Buy since this runs on propane. I know that those smaller units are different, so making French fries in a smaller unit sounds intriguing.

Greetings everyone! Let me introduce myself, I have been an active member on these forums since 2007. I did spend a lot of time here in 2006 as well. I have previously done a toy show here, and have written or authored new posts. I have even served as a moderator for a season. My background is in electronics repair and computer related servicing, repair and building. I have written articles for various toy soldier magazines and Toy Shop magazine. My passion is collecting and i often find my interests centered around Blu rays, DVD TV shows and collector sets. You may also know me from the news as the crazy camping guy who is always getting on CNN and USA Today. It is a funny thing when you find yourself in a google search as far away as Buffalo New York! I live west of Jacksonville Florida! I am the founder of the Black Friday Vacationers on Facebook where my locals can find out the latest news surrounding our favorite seasonal passion! I am a grandfather who is finally beginning to get into toys again, so bear with me if I am a little off on this subject. I am passionately into electronics, especially anything that can be found at the major retailers. I believe that this year will be a great year for televisions, but the trend is to offer 60hz models, so do not expect too much in the larger category this year. I will be talking to Bigjimslade and the hope is to coordinate with him a time when he feels that he can take back over, since I do not know how well the WIFI will hold up while out at Best Buy. I have assured Brad that I will at least try this for all of you out there. At the very least, I will set up a live cam or do some streaming from my phone. Possibly, but waiting on their software trial.... I did send Brad a request for the official Okay and offer to help this year, after all he is the Boss! This way, Big Jim can come in when he is ready after I depart for the camp (SHHHHH!!!!)

You might be assuming that I have the old one with Brad. Let me ask him if he wants to still do this.

Livestream has agreed to let me try the software, but everybody would have to sign up for a free account to see the stream. Would everyone be ok with that? I would like to go over the Kohl's ad tonight if I get some interest in this.
