  1. Well, I did report earlier this month that my pal on the markdown team told me that Electronics stuff would no longer go below 50%. Could be that....
  2. saw Kodak & Memorex digital photo frames on clearance at the Madre store in Pasadena. I didn't look closely to see if they were 15% or 30% off, but it wasn't 50%.
  3. on the amazon site if you search for the item. Or on the target website under the Additional Information tab when you look at the item.
  4. i've found them in both pasadena stores, alhambra, eagle rock, glendale, & la verne. And I don't always buy them since there is only so much juice you can use. last year I was able to get more than 200 boxes for our preschool spring fundraiser to use with the kids meals, so there have been plenty. I see them about twice a month now.
  5. If anyone on here visits the Chino Hills/Diamond Bar (it says Diamond Bar on the receipt, but isn't it more like Chino Hills?) Target, can you tell me if they ever finished marking their toys down. They had some odds & ends left that were still just 30%. Stuff like Webkinz & those big ugly pink & blue Pokemon stuffed toys. Anyway, if anyone knows, I'd really appreciate hearing. I don't need to go over there again this month, but I hid a couple of Webkinz I wanted. They had the biggest selection I saw at any store!
  6. Yep, getting drenched down here in Pasadena. And can I just lodge a complaint that even knowing that this is only making a slight dent in the drought, and with every level of government preaching water conservation, CalTrans has the sprinklers going alongside the freeway!!!! :eyepoppin I sit there watching them go off in the morning as I wait for Target to open at 8am.
  7. Aahhh...Shucks....I really do try to go every weekday. Weekends...not so much. But then, they rarely do markdowns on weekends.
  8. mine used to be like that too....now they are nearly 5 & 7, and they don't have the same enthusiasm....such a shame.
  9. which scooters? Ours didn't appear to be marked yet, but I may check again later today.
  10. black cat, cheeky monkey, blue rhino, white seal, racoon, clydesdale, bassett hound, reindeer, black lab, panda, dalmatian, polar bear & german shepherd are the ones I have found.
  11. is it the stacking kind you put over the tub? I used to use those and they worked well.
  12. I have only seen them in a few stores. They were an ad item very close to Christmas, but I don't think they all arrived on time. Anyway, they have been in toys in the clearance section. You might also look through the regular stuffed animals. To see what they have (and there are several) go on the Target website and search for Webkinz. the only difference is that the ones online come with trading cards or some charm. The ones in the store are only the animal with the code. Look for the big ugly Pokemon stuffed animals (really big and come in pink & blue), and if they have them, they'll probably be together.
  13. Yep, only the or more, never "up to"
  14. I found some Webkinz for $3.24 today. I also ran across a few odds and ends that were clearly leftover from previous clearance: Lego Aquaraiders set $7.48 & Halloween Littlest Pet Shop set $.49 (had to tell them the 90% off price). FYI if you are into the Esphera puzzles at all, be sure to scan them. SOME of the new ones are scanning at clearance price of $7.48. And the clearance ones show up sometimes on the shelf. I found a Disney one that is clearly new on sale today. I have also found the ocean scene and the fairy scene without red tags but marked down. Also, if anyone's kiddos like the Breyer Mini Whinnies, there are 2 new truck & trailer sets. The one with yellow trim often rings up about 50% off. It must share a DPCI with the full size truck & trailer set that went clearance 75% off b/c that is the price it is coming up. They are $12.99 regular, but ring up $6.74.
  15. I think all you folks who go to the Vogel store need to be complaining to the 800# more often. It is the only way they'll change. I have started doing that locally with our Alhambra store. I am sick of being treated badly there, and won't be chased off from finding good deals because they have lousy management. I have found that usually the problem is at a higher level of management that attitude to prevail in a store.
  16. No, no. It is XX% and up at Target not the other way around. That is why it is important to check tags and scan as if they are out of 75% off signs, they'll sometimes still have a lower % sale sign on the shelf.
  17. You should get those people's names and call the 800 number (or send an email). Particularly if you have just bought something and have a receipt that you can give the info from. Target generally takes that stuff seriously and people get disciplined for it. Sometimes fired. There is simply no excuse for that type of behavior. Oops -- I see you did. I would KEEP calling. That is really insane. If they continue the behavior, they need to be called on he carpet. Oh, and DH uses peanut butter every day for his toast. We go through about 2 of those big jars a month!!
  18. Wow! where in the world do you live? Maybe someone else in your area can get in on your leavings.
  19. That is actually true, believe it or not. Scanned NOF with the machine. I saw some of the leftover Christmas garden ducks and told a lady that it should be 90% off from Christmas, but when they scanned it with the price change team's PDT it was full price again. I think they do it to deal with hiders. But that is just a guess. They may see it as a way to foil at least some of them. Or it may be something else. They also sometimes bring items back in a following season. For example, they cleared out the toddler bedding sets (Thomas, Dora, Diego, etc.) in Oct/Nov. Took them to 75% off and got rid of everything. Then, they brought the exact same items back in January at full price. Not a different design, same item. Weird.
  20. You should contact the manufacturer. They will probably send you one for free.
  21. Yeah, they had those in the toy department, and they went down with the toys a couple of weeks ago. I saw several of them in a couple of stores.
  22. You may have better luck at the Lake store since I tend to get the ones at Madre.
  23. I find them at both Pasadena stores at least once a month or so. Sometimes more often. I also find them in Alhambra. I don't recall seeing them in Duarte.
