  1. Probably a software compatibility thing. I can't print them because we don't use Mac or Windows OS, so I always have to get others to print them. Seems they've dropped the limit to 2, now instead of 4. Just had someone print them for me.
  2. I had them scan the track pack at my store, and it was still only 30%.
  3. They were marking someof the toys (not many) down to 50% at a couple of stores today. another they were steady. A few new toys added to the clearance. I kind of hope next week isn't the big one, but I expect it to be. It is a little early, and I am going to be traveling that day, so for selfish reasons I hope they drag it out another week or two. Going to have to go back and check on bedding. We need sheets!
  4. Most of our do it Thursdays also, but it really varies. You have to learn your own store and their habits. However, it is also the case that several stores are pretty behind on clearance markdowns (the markdown teams are really busy), so some stores might even do it Fridays. Toys are also typically done in the morning, but it can happen any time of day. Sometimes, when the team is running behind, they'll start one afternoon, then finish in the morning the next day. It really helps to get to know the employees at the store to get good info. And only the markdown team itself ever really knows the scoop.
  5. They usually don't get marked down till about a week or 2 after the regular toy clearance. Maddening, isn't it?
  6. found Wall E Wii game & Tiger Woods Golf Wii game for 75% off. They had other stuff too.
  7. Last year it clearanced in June, so I think it is anyone's guess. Not much is left here. They seem to be letting it slowing go away on its own.
  8. thanks for the reminder. at least there will be something redeeming about having to take the kids there for lunch today. my oldest DS got to pick, and that was his choice.
  9. Bummer! You notice the Club/Loyalty exclusion? That will knock out most of the good grocery deals entirely since they tend to be for loyalty card holders. Still, it may be a good thing.
  10. WHAT!?!?? Where does it say it? I am going to go pull my ad out of the recycling right now!
  11. That is definitely true. But our local stores will not hold paid for merchandise. I've asked before when I bought something large, and they said no, not longer than a few minutes while you pull your vehicle up. Must be store by store.
  12. That's been my experience at Target too. I have managed to get them to hold something for me once in a while because they know me so well, but our stores won't do it in general. When they did patio clearance last year, I was just lucky to have a friend with me who went to get his truck.
  13. You might check the garden center. Our store moved it all out there to make room for BTS. It could still be there.
  14. Target won't hold anything that long. They'll return it to inventory and give you a refund.
  15. Curious if others stalking toys found a ton of Legos marked 30% off. It occurs to me that they may drag this out again this year if not. They are clearancing most of the Indiana Jones Legos (not all, though), and I realized that one of my stores didn't get them marked down yesterday. These will definitely clearance at all stores because Lego discontinued them, so hopefully that doesn't mean they are dragging things out.
  16. I forgot to mention that the GI Joe stuff also included the boxed sets with the DVD. I was only able to find 2 of 5 (they were a series). If anyone else finds these and finds the other numbers in the series at 75% off, I'd be happy to pay shipping to get them for my 6 year old. He really likes them!
  17. They also marked down the GI Joe Mighty Muggs, but that is all that I saw. Could be they did the smaller vehicles (besides the exclusive planes), but they didn't have any at my stores.
  18. You may want to check back. I was talking to the markdown team at my main store, and they are a full day behind on their work because there is so much being marked down right now.
  19. The title says it all. Don't know for how long, but it was when we were at the mall just now.
  20. I keep forgetting to post this. Target changed their no receipt return policy yet again. Now you can return a total of $70 or $75 (I forget now) worth of merchandise in any combo of transactions on your license. It is no longer a total of 2 times with a limit of $35 each time. I thought that was a good change.
  21. I finally went back through last year's threads, and the summer picnic stuff went 75% June 15th!! I bet they wait till after July 4th this year. One store I shop has already started consolidating and stocking bulk again. Last year the bulk only lasted 3 weeks before it got moved out again. Also, FYI: Last year the Patio stuff went 75% off July 15/16 (varied by area) and the first report of toys 75% last year was July 25th.
  22. I didn't see any picnic items, but I am not sure which section you mean. Do you mean the mini seasonal stuff? Picnic blankets, summer toys and such? Blue & green theme this year? Where they stock the bulk items when they have them? If so, those clearance separate from the patio furniture, but that should be coming soon too. :-) The BTS stuff is really getting pushed this year. Seems even earlier than in the past. Ironic this year since we don't start back till September 10th!! So late this time!
  23. Hmmm...could be if they skip 50%. Most places are still at 30% right now. But one of my stores is mixed 30%-50%. I got some nice folding lawn chairs for the kids now that they've outgrown the little bitty ones. That store has already started setting BTS.
  24. Well, let's hope there'll be more. I know that in January I was surprised by finding several items at 75% off that I hadn't seen at my local stores. So, maybe things will improve. In years past they have added more along the way, and I would not be surprised to see more coming. Particularly things like Legos since I know that several of the Indiana Jones sets are being discontinued by Lego. So, there is still hope. http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Drooling/drooling-4.gifhttp://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Drooling/drooling-5.gif
  25. I was looking at some sporting goods this morning and overheard the toy manager at my local store tell someone that she had 2 pallets of clearance toys that needed to come out to the floor. So, for those who have been complaining about the toy clearance being so sparse, it looks like we may be seeing more soon. Let's hope so, anyway! Ours hasn't been looking too hot, either, so I was glad to hear it.
