I think they'll go 75% off. They took the Leapster 2 & DIDJs that low, as well as the Vsmiles, so I can't see any reason why they wouldn't.

Thanks for the response! Yes, my kids have the DS Lite, and they play a LOT of Gameboy games on it as well. DS1 may need his replaced, so it is good to know that for him the cheaper is better.

Really? Did they change the DSi so that it won't take the Gameboy games? Because the DS does.

They mark things down in most departments each week, but markdowns are usually done ever other week for the same item. So the clothes that were just marked down yesterday won't get marked again until week after next.

Last year it was pretty late in September or early October at our stores.

I wonder if they have some new software that is catching error more quickly. There were a few toy pricing errors that I noticed over the last few months. One was a Thomas toy that stayed an error for about 2 months or more, but is now corrected. The others were part of the reset, and they were NOF for the first week or 2, but are now corrected. In fact, one scanned NOF at the scanner, but rang up correctly at the register within a few days. I've been seeing more of that lately too. It is interesting.

The only time I have ever had a problem is when I was only buying a single item and the coupon over-valued the item. So, I never let that happen now. Most cashiers around here don't even look at them. But I know that some areas scrutinize each coupon as if their life depended on it.

Oh, SO jealous!!! I only ever saw one even at full price at our stores. No chance of getting it. Our boys had a blast on one at a 4th of July party. I just can't bring myself to spend $300-$400 for one.

Very rarely, and only in certain stores based on previous postings. They seem to do it more often at some of the really out of the way locations. Not sure why, but there have been the occasional postings of it. Usually it is only holiday stuff. Most of the larger area stores salvage stuff after 75% off.

be sure to keep an eye on the register when you return clearance bought for more than the current clearance price. I had them try to give me the clearance amount back on a couple of items today, and my receipt price was full price. It turned into quite a big thing with a higher up manager having to come over. Just a heads up. TAG readers were clearance at about half the stores I hit today. I went to several (6) since I had to make a trip to a neighboring town.

You may want to buy it even without the coupon as they are on sale for $99 this week anyway. By the time someone mails you the coupon, you'll end up with the price going back up. Plus, you can always go back in and get the coupon applied to the receipt later.

This one really IS nice. It is good till the end of the year. Where did you find it? Did they have any other Leapster product coupons? I'd love to find one like this for DIDJ or Leapster2!

Yeah, I seriously think they have someone watching these boards for reports like mine. Which stinks because then you can't as easily share them as they find out about the deal. I am hesitant to share those things now other than in person. I think that maybe when they finally figured out the MM deal they started watching out online for reports like that.
