I got a Black & Decker iron for $4.98 down from $19.99 as well as a set of those vacuum seal bowls also $4.98 down from $19.99. They also had finally marked the artificial Christmas tree bags and some other Christmas storage stuff 75% off. I don't use artificial trees, but these bags will be great to store some large items in my garage that I wanted covered.

Good grief woman! Where do you live?!?! I have NEVER seen anything but seasonal ring up at 90% off! I can't believe you found complete Classic Pooh sets either! Those things cleared out completely at 50% off in all the stores I visit. Some at 30%. That is amazing! I can't find any of the stores that carry the Kleenex napkins. Sounds like you had an amazing trip! Congratulations!!!!

Yes, I see those now. I was looking at: http://cgi.liquidation.com/auction/view?id=1118615 which is listed by alertrading and is clearly Target clearance merchandise.

You know, I think that is exactly what this is, at least the toy lot sale. I recognize that there are a number of target exclusives in the photos, so I think an individual or group has gone, bought everything they could stick in a few carts, and then are selling it that way. Faster than ebay, certainly.

Some goes to Goodwill, some goes to the Salvation Army, and some goes to Big Lots. I am no Big Lots fan, but I have seen it very clearly when they are clearing out salvage toys from Target. I go there once in a while and have seen them. They did it the last 2 summers in a row.

There is an 800 number!?! Can you pass that along? I usually resort to snail mail.

They were marking the ladies clothing down at one of my stores today. They had some long sleeved sweaters that were folded on a table for 75% off. I wear womens sizes so I didn't get into the details, but if you are looking for clothes, this might be the day.

Can you tell me the DCPI? I have been looking for one for for DH.

Hi everyone. I have a few new things to report. The Odesa Firepit that I mentioned yesterday - currently 30% off is DCPI 009040106 I also discovered that there is a girls version of the Torrid bike. It is called the Magna Girls World Bike. Also 20" and they are purple in our store. Where the Torrid has a BMX number on the front, the girls bike has a backpack. It is DCPI 082050044. That is just one number off the boys number which ends in 5. Ours are still only at 50% but they had 4 of each.

they are lower quality hard anodized and though t-fal doesn't make them, the quality is approximately the same. You don't get as even a distribution of heat which leads to burn spots. The other problem is the low quality nonstick surface. It simply doesn't hold up - also similar to t-fal. That is what I meant. Hope that makes more sense.

There is no comparison. The quality of the Target Calphalon is closer to T-Fal. The Calphalon sold in other stores is thicker and much higher quality. Frankly, though, even the Calphalon that is sold in other stores has seriously gone down hill in the last few years. I am a pretty serious cook, and use my pans regularly. I have had 3 of the Calphalon Professional Nonstick pans go south on me and had to have Calphalon replace them. Unfortunately they replaced them with their new series of pans which seem much less durable than the previous ones! I am slowly replacing them with All Clad.

These are great for soda, but I would be careful with juice unless it is shelf stable (juice boxes, or cans, but not the stuff in plastic bottles). These do not get as cold as a regular refrigerator, which is why they are good for wine. I make homemade cheese and bought a larger one on clearance last year for that. It is perfect because it does not get so cold as to kill the bacteria. Which, of course, is why you need to be careful.

we have 2 kmarts in our area, and neither has much of anything marked down in toys for more than 25% or so. some departments have some 50% clearance, but their prices are higher to begin with than walmart or target, so they aren't much in the way of deals.

I just got back from Target and finally checked the one closest to my house for firepits. I found the Odessa (sorry forgot the DCPI) model was down 30%. It was not marked in any way, I just checked the code on the scanner. So, if you have these in your store, there may yet be hope. I found them back by housewares and tools in my store. This is one of those stores with a detached garden center, so things are often in an odd place.

I saw them on clearance at 2 of the 4 stores I went to today. The other 2 had them full price. I think they might have made a small packaging change, and cleared them out for that. That is exactly what they did a few months ago with Hot Wheels too. Always strikes me as a complete waste, but it must make sense to someone at Target. They were scanning as Item Not Found at my store, even though the sign has a price. You might get lucky if someone with PDT scans them and they come up at a clearance price.

I went to 4 stores today, and only 1 had the small baby stuff marked down, finally! I was able to get some of the Classic Pooh bedding stuff for great prices as well as a couple of sleep gowns. Very cute. I noticed, though I wasn't interested for myself, that they have almost all of the golf club sets marked half price at a couple of the stores. So if you know any budding golfers, now would be the time to start looking at clubs! I also got one of the color wonder nemo sets. that was the only one I found. It was marked $7.48, but rang up at $3.74. Just in time, too. My 3 year old was just asking when he could paint at home. :) Which reminds me...since I am new to the whole message board thing...what does DD and DS stand for exactly? I am guessing it is an abbreviation for children, but I can't quite figure it out.

he just rang it up at the same price as some legos I was buying. I have had that happen before occasionally, usually when I go through the line of some bored looking young guy who doesn't really want to be there.

my score of the day was a crayola kids mp3 player. it rang up as $0 so I got it for $2.48. I just looked online and they were $49.99 originally. the toy clearance is now ringing up $0 in most places I have been.
