Finally! A benefit to living 2,000 miles from my family! Nope, never had that happen.

I like going to TRU just because I feel so good when I've gotten great deals on toys for my kids. I think I get as excited as they do about their toys, LOL. I like getting deals at other stores too, but I don't get the same feeling of excitement picturing their face as they open their presents on Christmas.

I don't shop for my grandparents...my dad usually has a list of things he wants--books, classical music CDs, clothes, whatever. I'll get something from the list for him. My mom sometimes gives me suggestions and sometimes doesn't; for her I usually go with clothes or jewelry. She also likes knick-knacks and books so I've gotten those for her in the past too.

I don't get it...no matter which browser I use to download, I get an error message saying the file is invalid or corrupted. Same as with the early bird ad. I swear I'm following the instructions, too...and I've downloaded compressed files before without a problem. Argh.

Yeah--I just got back from running errands and it's incredibly slow. I even got error messages a few times when I tried to click on various threads.

I've never seen gift wrapping done out here in stores, but I like wrapping. I could wrap presents all day long and be happy. :) So I do the wrapping myself.

I was first in line at Sears last year. Got there at 4 am and was first--I actually sat in my car for about 10 min till I saw another car pull up. Then I got out and scurried over to the door so I could stake out my spot LOL.

I got an email about the one month netflix trial but it expired 9/28, or else I'd hook you up.

LOL I was actually relieved when I saw the ad--there isn't anything I want in it. Finally, a week to NOT hit TRU. LOL!

You might be able to find good stuff in consignment stores...the merchandise is used but some consignment stores are very picky and only take things in great, like-new condition. You'd never know by looking at it that it wasn't new, and it will cost much less than brand-new gear/clothes. You can also get great deals by buying clothes on clearance, for the next year. If you are 11 weeks pregnant now, your baby is due sometime in May? So if any stores still have summer baby clothes on clearance I would buy newborn and infant clothes, maybe up to size 6 months or so, at the cheap prices. You don't know exactly what size your baby will be wearing in each month, but you should do pretty well getting the first couple sizes in summer clothes. Congratulations on your pregnancy! :)

You know, that's strange--I did a search the other day for Black Friday or something similar and this was the first one, at the top, as a sponsored link. Ohhh--I searched on google, not yahoo.

LOL! I would think the other kind of stash would be one you would remember.

LOL...yeah, I've lost a couple presents before. One year my mom's birthday present became her Christmas present. I normally put presents in my closet, so if I hide them anywhere else I tend to forget where.

I hide stuff in my van but that's because I don't want the kids seeing it, LOL. When I get home it has to all stay in the van till I can get them either out of the house or in bed, so I can haul it all either out to the storage shed out back or up to my room and stuff it in my closet.

I think it would be excellent customer service to do that.

There's nothing fun going on here though to make me do that...just me, my drink, and SNL...sigh, it's too quiet...

LOL...I'm definitely in a mood. Combine that with the rum...watch out. LOL.

I don't think I was referring to anyone in particular with that comment...but regardless, even an elephant one wouldn't be doing me any good NOW. Um, and I think I'd prefer a human one.

Bags are expensive...you can get a whole roll of wrapping paper, or one bag. I go for the wrapping paper and only use bags when I am re-using one I have already received. Um, I hope that's not tacky. They still look new.

That'd be one reason for the lack of packaging.
