  1. Thanks, mom and dad checked Walmart and said they are too expensive. I told them they are just used to Marcs- I remember you are from Cleveland too so you would understand!
  2. My mom wants to put Summer Sausuage in my brother's stocking as a gift this year, but they are retired and always short on money. Anybody know of any good deals?
  3. I am very thankful for this deal. I am a new teacher and my room was close to barren because I've been broke from moving and a lot of unforeseen expenses. Now my kids will at least have a calendar, and I got a bulletin board set and a ton of resource books. :2elephant:gd_not_ri:banana01::gd_orange:teacher:
  4. Whoops sorry I even searched for it!
  5. It says its for the month of December as long as supplies last. If I were you, I would put in my order today because the good stuff goes quick, then tell everyone Monday and there should still be a lot of good things left (Does Scholastic make anything bad? Especially if its a dollar!)
  6. Yay! This offer is for teachers only...you have to mail it to a school address or you can't get it. Scholastic is having a holiday dollar days sale....everything in the sale is $100 and there are over 700 items. Shipping seems to be a flat $2.25 no matter how much you order. Have fun teachers! I am a new teacher and I got everything else I still needed and saved 100s of dollars. http://shop.scholastic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/TSAdminLanding?storeId=10001&catalogId=10002&langId=-1&viewParam=landingpage/DollarDaysDec.html&esp=tshome/1207/espot1/Ddlandingpage
  7. Thank you. I was considering ordering something from them but was unsure of their customer service. I will go ahead and order!
  8. Do you have the coupon code? I am an Army dependent.
  9. I wanted to check if it was working because I need a new cell phone, and I got a $40 off $350 coupon. Really good if you need something expensive, better than 10%. I'll wait til Friday to place my order.
  10. Off topic- but the same thing happened with my Dell. Didn't get it for Black Friday though. Argh. I learned my lesson!
  11. Its amazing how much this site has grown! This is the only deals website I go to because this site really focuses on quality, and the members are so kind to each other, and you don't encourage crazy unlawful things to get deals. Thank you so much for this site! I think other people will see how good this site is and all the other sites won't do as well. Great job!
  12. Wow. Gottadeal is so popular Sam Walton himself comes out of his grave and sends you an email!
  13. Yep- that is often called greywater or graywater.
  14. Is it pretty impossible to get Good Black Friday deals on computers without standing in line all night? My best friend is low on cash and really needs a computer. I am trying to tell him if he keeps up with deals he should probably find one comparable to a Black Friday one with close to the same price. What do you think? He wouldn't mind a desktop either.
  15. This is a really kind message board. You don't need to worry about asking us to be kind. We don't bite. Welcome Generally, people don't have good luck pricematching on Black Friday, especially if the stores don't state they will. Some stores, (if I remember correctly, like Walmart, Target, AAFES) will pricematch. One thing you can do is go up to the store, grab a package of those diapers and ask the manager if the price goes down later this week if he will PM. Thats usually the best way to get the answer. Raising babies is expensive. Good luck!
  16. My Polaroid brand tv that I bought from Walmart was the second worst purchase I've ever made.
  17. Ok...really excited about Black Friday this year but I think I might be confused. I sit at home, wait for the Black Friday ad to popup and then get to my nearest Walmart ASAP before the two hour time limit is up, or is this online as well? Walmart is making my head spin this year.
  18. There are certain fast, crowded roads I dislike and also certain dangerous country roads near my home that I avoid out of fear for my life!
  19. I have gotten rainchecks from them several times. Target is the best store I know of with giving away rainchecks.
  20. You are my hero!!!! As someone with phobias of certain types of roads, I have been trying to find this out for almost a year! Whooppie!
  21. The Dollar Tree usually has 4 packs of Panasonic batteries for $1.00. They last a long time and I have never had a problem with them!
  22. What unit would be best for those with phobias of certain roads (for example, if I want to type in that I never want to go down Maple Street). Do any have that feature?
  23. Love these- I am a teacher! Thanks for the info. for some reason, Scholastic didn't email me this time to remind me!
  24. I am a teacher- I suggest buying things for the classroom especially if the teacher is a new one. Teachers can always use extra books (try bookcloseouts.com) stickers, etc...many would rather have something for the class than themselves. Also, be careful about scented things. We are not allowed to have anything scented in our rooms. (Doesn't help that the room smells like feet and we can't spray anything). I think it would be nice if your daughter made something for her teachers, too. Good luck!
