  1. Silly question, I was at Target when I saw all the summer stuff 30% off, I personally don't like the Cynthia Rowley stuff but I was wondering why is the summer stuff on clearance before it is even summer? I remember this happening about 3 years ago also.
  2. Lexar, they have locations in the south only....Texas, Georgia, Florida, etc.
  3. They said they've been doing it "every so often". I know, great answer.
  4. Patiently waiting! I usually use the $10 off coupon to buy work socks, but I don't have to wear dress shoes at my new school so I don't have to wear dress socks! I'm so boring...I will probably spend it on a home deal this year. I don't have a JC Penney credit card either.
  5. Awesome! I make lists and wait for these weeks :)
  6. Great deal at Rooms to Go if you are in the market for furniture. You buy 1 $100 giftcard you get one $100 gift card free. You can't use it until June 7th but it is valid for a year. We pre-ordered some furniture that will be delivered in August and they are letting us use the gift cards on that. You may be able to let each person in your party purchase a gift card (you all need a different phone and address) and they said the max you can use is three of the free gift cards towards your purchase. I think the part about using multiple giftcards is a YMMV situation.
  7. Yes that is a great site, they have good prices and they are very reliable. I'm so mad that someone reposted the coupon code without the survey because the whole idea was you are supposed to take the survey if you are teach elementary, and then get the coupon code. The person who reposted it on the sleazy site didn't even mention the survey so people didn't know they weren't doing things the right way. I saw one idiot made 26 orders! I'm glad I made my order and took the survey the right way and I am never even doing so much as looking at the sleazy deal site again (thats all I did anyway...) but grrrrrr. Now that company is going to have to raise prices to recover. And mmm I have some really good links and there is one place I patronize that is even less expensive but they are owned by the same parent company.
  8. Please don't abuse this, it is for k-5 teachers and they will cancel our orders if too many people abuse it. You are supposed to get the code after a survey.
  9. The survey is really short and easy, definitely worth the $10/$10 with free shipping. I was able to purchase a lot with the $10 and there are a lot of fillers in the sticker section because you need to spend at least $10. Here is the link, it took me about 3 minutes. http://www.schoolspecialtypublishing.com/ Please don't abuse this.
  10. Ugh, I'm so sad I moved to the middle of nowhere and the book sale is tooooo far away. It might be a good thing, since I am not really sure what grade I am teaching next year.
  11. I got it a few years ago when it was on this special, I love it! The cartridges were like $17. I always used it with ink saver mode. Very good investment!
  12. http://www.pumpkinpatchusa.com/sizing.cfm SIZING CHART :)
  13. Oh! My dad loves these! Do you know how warm they are? We moved to Florida, and I'd love to get it for a father's day gift, but it might not work with the climate.
  14. I am a teacher and I really love Classroom Direct. They almost always have the best prices, they have great customer service as well. I haven't checked out the electric pencil sharpeners for you but look under "office supplies". Free shipping if you spend more than $49 and if you can find a teacher that is part of the NEA, order under her name and get 10% off and free shipping for any amount.
  15. There's no way to order if you aren't a teacher. I couldn't even order when I was a student teacher because for your first order you need to get it shipped to a school address and they verify it. The Scholastic Parent store is great, and parents can buy from it, but it doesn't have the same deals and shipping is a bit more.
  16. I think on the website they count daycares as school, see what happens when you get to check out. Most of the stuff here though is for the classrooms, not kids though. They wouldn't like bulletin board borders!
  17. I don't know about the microwave, but I'd say go with the flash drive. If you are unsure about the microwave, you can always go to the library and check out Consumer Reports.
  18. Wow, I got a little scared, thought it was an all in one appliance! I don't know about microwave ovens but the flash drive price looks good for 8 gb. Do you really need 8gb though? You can buy smaller ones for a lot cheaper. Good luck!
  19. Yah, I think this time I am going to invest in a warranty. I have bad luck with computers.
  20. I dropped my current laptop and its only working about 50% of the time and turns off whenever it wants to. I am looking for a new laptop that is a little bit durable. All I need is entry-level I barely even use Youtube. Any ideas?
  21. They only had the one stuffed animal from Hop on Hop. I was especially interested in the book and Horton and Yertle, maybe Fox in Socks. Thanks for the idea though. Wonder what is coming out next...I think the characters are a great motivator for kids to read and the money goes to charity so we all win!
