Well I guess you didn't have a choice then and that sucks Yes there is a waranty. If you have any issues with the laptop I would call Toshiba NOW and get them addressed and resolved. 90 days is not a lot of time.
Wow this sucks it looks like it's 90 days. I told you so :) I told everyone 100000x times the Toshiba @ CC laptop is better. Double the RAM, larger hard drive, better LCD display and 1 year warranty for only $70 more.
When you signed up do you remember which debit or credit card you used?
Call your credit card company and ask if there are any charges or pending authorizations from AOL?
Call AOL again and ask to speak with a supervisor or manager, it just seems really odd that your info was 'lost'.
Thanks for the info.
That 27" would have made a nice 'computer room' TV but I'd have to pay for a cable HD box unless I went OTA.
Oh well I guess I'll pass on this unless the 27" drops to $499 anytime soon.
I would actually go to the CC store you signed up at, bring your receipts with you. Ask them to re-confirm they registered you and under what AOL screen name?
You pay $15 and get $60 back? Not bad. Even if you sell two for $40 that's like getting the third for free "just in case" you need it. This will sell out FAST.
I dunno it's sort of like why do I have a bunch of ethernet cables, USB cables and stuff laying around? For $15 shipped for three 802.11b WiFi cards it's just too cheap to resist.
