Of course if the Dell 700m laptop offered internal bluetooth then I would get a BT mouse but those aren't as cheap.

Chris, I love my Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse because it's so comfortable and was on sale for $19 @ CostCo. However battery life isn't that impressive and my biggest gripe is the USB receiver/dongle. It's L shaped and doesn't stay securely attached to the bottom of the mouse. After reading this review of the Logitech V200 and seeing this picture, I am SOLD. I just ordered this mouse and cannot wait to hook it up :)

What size TV are you looking for? If you have a TV stand or an entertainment center, what size does it accomodate?

There are always Hot Deals 24/7/365, one of the hottest deals was posted August 4, 2005 which is far away from Black Friday. It all depends on what kind of laptop you're in the market for and what your budget is? If you have a realistic budget of $699+ then I would wait. If you're looking for a loss leader in the $499 - $599 range I'd seriously consider buying now.

I personally think it's worth it because we TiVo stuff all the time and it saves us A LOT of time. We have season passes for about 10 different shows and it always remembers to record new episodes only, it's great.

Not really as TiVo is worthless without the monthly or lifetime service, then it just becomes a fancy doorstop. If you are interested in a DVR and paying for it, then this is a HOT DEAL

Ray is correct. I'm not that hardware savvy but upgrading RAM on my Dell laptop was super easy. Unplug and turn off laptop, flip it upside down, remove 2 screws, pop in the new RAM, put screws back in, reboot and you're done :)

Assuming you have your receipt and it's within 14 days of your original purchase date, there shouldn't be any problems.
