Not to burst your bubble, but if your current iPod needs to go in for service, they'll probably either fix it or give you a refurb version of the exact same iPod. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Sorry%20Help/sorry.gif

20% off laptops $899+ and 30% off laptops $999+ @ HP.com

Thanks... I probably went a little overboard on the upgrades, but if you compare the dv200t and dv2500t as closely as possible, the dv2500t is only between $13-$93 more. -
$500.00 to spend on new TV

EXTRA, EXTRA, READ ALL ABOUT IT: http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/cat/-13416/edOid/145447/rpem/ccd/lookLearn.do And working Analog TVs need not be turned into fish tanks in the near future. You just need to buy a Digital-to-Analog Converter Box (similar to a cable box). According to the article above, the date will be February 17, 2009. Also, there really isn't too much to worry about UNLESS you get your TV signal "over-the-air (rooftop antenna, rabbit ears, etc.). If you have satellite or cable, then you should be fine for the foreseeable future. From that article: -

Well, I took the plunge: HP Pavilion dv2500t customizable Notebook PC – Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit) – Intel® Core 2 Duo processor T7500 (2.20 GHz, 4 MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB) – 14.1" WXGA High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1280 x 800) – 2GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm) – Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 – HP Imprint (Radiance) + Fingerprint Reader + Webcam + Microphone – Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection and Bluetooth – FREE Upgrade to 160GB 5400RPM from 120GB 5400RPM!! – LightScribe SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-RW with Double Layer Support – $30 OFF HP ExpressCard Digital/Analog TV Tuner – 6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery – Microsoft® Works 8.0 – HP Home & Home Office Store in-box envelope - 2-year HP Pick Up and Return Extended Service Plan for HP Pavilion and Compaq Presario Notebook PCs ($139.99 - no discount) Products subtotal +$1,444.98 Coupons remove -$261.00 Order subtotal Updating +$1,183.98 Shipping +$0.00 Estimated tax +$71.04 Order total +$1,255.02 That might sound a little high, but I got their top-of-the-line processor, 2GB of RAM, quite a few upgrades, a ExpressCard Digital/Analog TV tuner, and a 2 year extended warranty. I kept thinking about whether or not to get the dedicated graphics card but finally decided since I'm not a gamer, it wouldn't be necessary. I did the 6-months same-as-cash option. Should ship on 9/14! http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Happy/birthday_kangaroos.gif I've had good experience with HP/Compaq in the past, going back to a Win98 850mhz AMD Slot A Tower... My wife has a new Compaq laptop. I have a 17" zd8205us laptop as my primary laptop and an old Evo N410c as my secondary laptop (both of which I'll be selling soon). -

This review pretty much steered me away from the dv2000t to the dv2500t: http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=3721&review=HP+dv2500t While I was initially impressed with the Vostro, I've had good experience with HP/Compaq (and I've only owned a Dell monitor so far). Some things I really like about the current HP/Compaq line over other computers: 1) There is a little button near the trackpad to turn the trackpad on and off. That's great since I use a mouse 99% of the time anyway. Keeps me from having phantom mouse movement while typing. 2) Greater docking station options: the xb3000 Notebook Expansion Base and the HP Notebook QuickDock. Those prices are a little high, you can buy either locally or on eBay for less. -

The dv2500t is the next model up from the HP 14.1" dv2000t. It comes standard with a Core2Duo and has an optional fingerprint reader and more advanced features than the dv2000t can be configured with. Incidentally, there is a 30% off deal on the dv200t right now too: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=81793 When combined with the 20% off discount code, the dv2500t is right in line with what a dv2000t would cost when loaded to the hilt with the 30% off code on that laptop. Personally, I'd lean towards the dv2500t, that's just me. When outfitted as similarly as possible, the dv2500t is about $13 more, but the processors aren't quite equal: The dv2000t -- Intel® Core 2 Duo processor T5300 (1.73 GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 533MHz FSB) And the dv2500t -- Intel® Core 2 Duo processor T5250 (1.5 GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 667MHz FSB) If you compare the dv200t to the dv2500t with a better processor on the dv2500t, the cost spead is higher, but your getting a 2.0+Ghz processor... The code you need is NB2770 (it expires 9/12/07 or whenever they feel like pulling it). The dv2500t comes with a Core2Duo processor, Vista Home Premium, and 1GB of RAM standard. To upgrade to 2 GB is $80 ($100 less 20% discount). Right now you can get a 160GB hard drive as a free upgrade. That makes it $775.99 for a dv2500t with 2GB of RAM. Remember, you'll actually enter the discount code on the final checkout page, which is after you've added the laptop to your cart and provided your address... This is the same page where you'll enter your payment information. It's a little further into the process than Dell does it (if you are familiar with their checkout process). Also, the NB2770 code will negate the $100 instant rebate. You can't have it all, I guess... Link to Customize & Buy Reviews: http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=3721&review=HP+dv2500t --The review above is from an owner who had a dv2000t when they first came out and bought a dv2500t to replace it. If you are on the fence between the dv200t and the dv2500t, the above article is a must-read. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,2126866,00.asp http://computershopper.com/reviews/hp_pavilion_dv2500t_laptop_review http://www.pclaptop-review.com/2007/05/18/hp-pavilion-dv2500t-review/ EDIT: Scroll down to post #10 for the 30% off code. -
That depends on whether the OP is simply replacing an existing keyless remote, or adding a completely new feature to a vehicle that never had remote keyless before. In looking back at the OP, it isn't clear which one they are after.

Right! You really need to keep the specks in mind when comparing the different laptops offered on BF (or anytime for that matter). Don't compare apples to oranges and don't buy a Celeron if you really need a Core2Duo...

How about Skype? We placed an order with them and I had to call to cancel it since they were out of stock on the item and it was going to be a 9 week wait. I got through in about 3 minutes... Maybe I'm just living right?
-
My cats hate it... They'll literally fly out of the room when it comes on...
-
Not too bad... We've ordered from them at least 4 times. Much of the items they sell is the standard made-in-China stuff that no one needs. I personally refer to it as the "Book of Crap". In addition to taking a while to ship, they are sometimes out of stock and that can delay that portion of your order up to two months.

Rebirth is exactly right... If BB would allow what Disney8704 proposes, everyone would do it to avoid the crowds. Sorry, Disney8704. There will be some of the items from the BB ad available online, but not the doorbusters.

Which part do you get stuck on? How to make a new folder? -- Go to Bookmarks-->Organize Bookmarks. Click on the New Folder icon on the top. On the pop-up window, give the new folder a name (such as Deal-A-Day sites). Close the pop-up window. To make a Bookmark: go to the Web site you want to add. Go to Bookmarks-->Bookmark This Page. On that pop-up window, use the drop-down window to select your newly-created folder as the destination.
