We usually hit Meijer and sometimes Kmart and Walmart early t-day morning. Also, I usually get some online deals that day.

I thought all the 75% toy bargains were all cleaned out by now. While my dd was at football practice this morning, I decided to stop by the Southfield Rd. (MI) store. Well, there was nobody even in the toy section when I first got there except a couple of employees, and they looked like they were resetting the section. But I found a bunch of stuff on the endcaps and in the regular aisles. A couple items were only marked 50% off, but I knew to scan them because on this forum. Anyway, Amazon hasn't done their big toy clearance yet, so there's still hope for the Leapster stuff. And then you can hit Target's after-Christmas toy clearance and get a jump on next year.

Pretty much cleaned out at Livonia (9/Middlebelt) Target yesterday afternoon. Yep. I did know that. So they say anyway. But the "starter" ink that comes with the printer seems to last as long or longer than the ink you pay for afterward. At least with Canon ink anyway.

I'm in the same boat. That's because it's strangely more cost effective to buy a new printer than to buy a new ink cartridge. I pick up at least one new printer every year on BF for less than the cost of a replacement cartridge.

I googled it. The model # is MMP8568. I found problems with the older model (MMP8565 - the one on Target's website), but not much on this one. I took a chance. I can always return them if necessary.

I mentioned it in thread #678. I bought two of these yesterday: a purple one for my 11 y.o. niece (she's a little too old 4 the fusion, which I'd gotten for her 5 y.o. brother), and a red one for a friend. I got them at two different Targets, and at each store they were the only ones left. I did notice at one Target they have restocked them in new colors, and the new stock are full priced. I compared them...they are exactly the same, just comes with different songs. btw...i think each color has different songs anyway because the songs on the purple one are different from the songs on the red one I got. My niece won't open hers until next month, but my friend will probably open his this weekend so I'll find out from him then if it's any good.

They were still hanging in the aisle at my store.

Tomorrow, I'll take back the one I got at 50% off, so I'm coming out $30 ahead. Also, I had hidden some of the cards waiting for them to go down, but, alas, my hiding place has finally been discovered! Oh well. I worked well for several months. I'll just have to find a new spot. I have a niece (11) who might like that mp3 player and a nephew (15) who would love that camcorder.

Yep. They are pretty much the same. According to the box, the Fusion supports the following: mp3, wma, pd-drm, wm-drm/video playback. It comes with 1GB internal storage, but you can add additional storage via the SD/MMC card slot. The Fusion also comes pre-loaded with some games...I'm not sure whether the Mix Max does or not. Another bonus is that the Fusion battery is rechargeable. Again, I don't know about the Mix Max, but none of my other mp3 players have this, so I'm thrilled with that. The Fusion (and probably the Mix Max) comes with a cable to connect it to your computer's USB port. It's plug-n-play, so adding downloaded content shouldn't be too difficult. HTH

It does seem they are taking longer to mark things down lately. The NPowers at my Targets sat at 30% for the longest time (a month maybe) before finally going to 50%.

I checked the status of mine online, and it shows they already shipped it. I tracked it through FedEx and found that it left Olive Branch, MS yesterday!

The Npower Fission doesn't play video. The Fusion does. I think it depends on your dd and which characters she likes. I got my dd9 the Fusion because she's into NBB and she has waaay much Disney (HM and HSM esp.) stuff already. I haven't given it to her yet, and it's still in the box so I can't give a review yet.

That's interesting. Especially since I've seen opened returns on the shelves in Target (the ones with the red and white "AS IS" tags). Last week I saw an "AS IS" tablecloth that was an obvious return. Personally, I'd rather they sell me an unopened sewing machine. How, exactly, do they think this will make someone sick...besides the obvious passing of germs by touch (but they don't destroy shopping carts after each use, so that CAN'T be their fear)??

I started to object to this because I've used iTunes to download to my mp3 player before. Then I realized that mine is, in fact, compatible with mp4 format. I usually download from Amazon and Best Buy.

Yes. you have to download in mp3 (or wma if your player takes that) format. Thanks for the info. I'm heading to Target in the morning. I'll look for these.

I installed my daughters pics on her Photokinz using Vista. I had to use the workaround, but it's just as simple...maybe one extra step. Still, it took less than 15 mins...and it wouldn't have taken that long except dd took a long time to decide which photos she wanted loaded.

I stash stuff in different spots depending on the store. I actually outsmart myself sometimes. Today I went in to stash 3 of the Spongebob Fusions, and found some embellishment jars (scrapbook stuff) I forgot I had stashed there a few weeks ago when they were still 50%. So I went ahead and bought the jars (now scanning 75% off) to make room for my new stash.
