  1. Not to mention the fact that this seems like a whole lot of time and effort for $5. Thanks anyway.
  2. I have DISH and have all those channels, except maybe PBS Sprout (which is not an issue b/c dd is 9 and would not watch this anyway). I've actually got 2 different regular PBS channels b/c of where I live. I also get ABC Family and Nick GaS.
  3. Clipped the $3 coupon from SmartSource, printed the $5 coupon from Tylenol, and I'll be heading to Target tomorrow! Thanks OP.
  4. Looks like online only. But you can still use ground shipping and have it by Christmas if the item says 2-3 day availability. Today is the last day for free ground shipping on orders of $49 or more. According to the TRU site: To ensure your gifts arrive by Dec 24th: Dec 15 Use Standard Ground Shipping only on items with a 2 - 3 day availability Dec 16 Use Standard Ground Shipping only on items with a 2 - 3 day availability Dec 17 Use Standard Ground Shipping only on items with a 2 - 3 day availability Dec 18 Last day to order using Standard Ground Shipping only on items with a 2 - 3 day availability Dec 19 Use Second Day Shipping only on items with a 2 - 3 day availability Dec 20 Last day to order (by Noon EST) using Second Day Shipping only on items with a 2 - 3 day availability Dec 21 Last day to order (by Noon EST) using Next Day Shipping only on items with a 2 - 3 day availability * Please check the "Availability" of each item in your order (which can be found on each item's product page). * Items with 2 - 3 day availability ordered using standard ground shipping will arrive by 12/24 if ordered by 12/18. * Items displaying 2 - 3 weeks availability may not arrive by 12/24. * The shipping deadline for all special address (US P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, US territories and Puerto Rico) have passed. HTH
  5. Thanks! After I read this I made elaborate plans to head to Payless while my daughter was at school tomorrow. Then they canceled school for tomorrow d/t weather. So I guess I'll have to go on Tuesday.
  6. Thanks for the info. I'm not familiar with the website, though, and they do not accept paypal or google c/o. I could still go get a MC giftcard from my bank for the amount, but that's a lot of hassle. So, this is definitely a possibility. Thanks again!
  7. My dd and I still play her GCregularly. However, when one of her controllers died I had a hard time finding a replacement. I've also noticed that the game titles have been decreasing since they are phasing it out in favor of the Wii. I decided to upgrade to the Wii this Xmas (shhhh! dd has no idea) for those reasons and because she can play her GC games and use her GC memory card on the Wii. This is still a good deal for $30 though...i think dd's father paid >$100 for hers a 4-5 years ago.
  8. My dd9's umbrella recently snapped, and I'd love to find a deal on a Hannah Montana, Cheetah Girls, or High School Musical Umbrella at a decent price. She also likes Naked Brothers Band from Nick, but NBB stuff is definitely not easy to find. Thanks in advance for help with this.
  9. Wow! How do you keep order? My brother and I can't even be in the same room for UofM/Ohio St. games.
  10. I probably should have posted that I did get a separate package with the complete homework bundle, only a couple of days after I got the backpack. So all's well. I panicked for nothing. LOL
  11. On the upside...have you checked out the backpack yet? It's pretty cool. I know it was made for the Fly 1.0, but I wonder if the inserts (calculator, clock, sound effects) work with the Fly Fusion. If not, I wonder if they'll make new inserts available that will work with the new pen.
  12. UPS still shows my shipment is on its way, so I'm assuming the rest of my stuff will show up tomorrow. If it was USPS I'd still be concerned because they take forever to update their info. But usually UPS updates and shows the package is in my garage and that's how I know a package has been delivered. (Don't ask me WHY my UPS guy never rings my doorbell. He always puts my packages in the garage, even when we're home.) So I'm waiting to see if I get it by tomorrow. If not, the Leapfrog folks will be hearing from me.
  13. Has anyone received their order yet? I just got a box delivered with just the backpack in it. The UPS tracking no. they gave me is still showing IN TRANSIT to be delivered by Thursday. Does this mean they shipped the backpack separately on purpose, or did they screw up my order? The invoice in the box showed it was only supposed to contain the backpack, but the shipment confirmation they emailed to me showed the correct order. Did anyone else have this problem?
  14. On the Today show this morning they said that this can happen when you order online and your item gets shipped directly from a manufacturer or distributor. I don't know how accurate that info is, but I'd been hearing people complain about this a lot recently. I haven't encountered this problem yet, but I've been sending my packages to a friend's house anyway (cuz she is home during the day and is there to receive it). That way I have at least some control over who is around when I pick it up.
  15. I sneak my dd's DS after she goes to bed (shhhh...don't tell her!), and I like to play Brain Age, My Word Coach, Mario Kart, and all of the ol' skool card and board games like Sorry, Uno, Skip-Bo, etc. The ol' skool games are cool cuz you usually get 2 or 3 on the same cartridge. I usually pick them up "for my dd" for under $20.
  16. I thought they had already closed. They've been going out of business for quite a while now.
  17. The Costco one does not come with as much stuff. I was in Costco yesterday and looked at it. It's still a good deal, though. Here's what you get in Costco's bundle: FLY Fusion Pentop Computer FLY Fusion Music Studio Pro FLY Fusion Brain Teasers FLY Fusion Notebook Plus 13 FLY Fusion games, accessories, and a $10 FLYbucks™ coupon At Costco yesterday it was marked $79.99, but it shows up as $89.99 online.
  18. Another bundle available: The FLY Fusion™ Math Pro Gift Set (link) $79.99 Included: FLY Fusion™ Pentop Computer FLY Fusion™ Algebra FLY Fusion™ FastComp Math Pro FLY Fusion™ Purple Notebook Plus 13 FLY Fusion™ games, an additional notebook, accessories and a $10 FLYbucks™ coupon After it's added to the shopping cart, they probably throw in a free FLY® 1.0 Backpack with this one, too.
  19. On the product page, right above the price and "Add to Cart" button, it says "details". Click on it, and it expands to show what's all included.
  20. I was about to get mad until I looked at the site and saw it was a different bundle. LOL. The $89.99 bundle (now apparently out of stock) included the following: FLY Fusion™ Pentop Computer (79.99 retail) FLY Fusion™ Writing software (29.99 retail) FLY Fusion™ Algebra software (29.99 retail) FLY Fusion™ Spanish Translator software (14.99 retail) FLY Fusion™ Purple Notebook (8.99 retail) Plus 13 FLY Fusion™ games, an additional notebook, accessories and a $10 FLYbucks™ coupon And the free FLY® 1.0 Backpack they threw in with the order (13.11 sale price/was $24.99) The new $79.99 bundle (Link) now on the site includes these: FLY Fusion™ Pentop Computer (79.99 retail) FLY Fusion™ Writing Software (29.99 retail) FLY Fusion™ Journal Software (19.99 retail) FLY Fusion™ Purple Notebook (8.99 retail) Plus 13 FLY Fusion™ games, an additional notebook, accessories and a $10 FLYbucks™ coupon And the free FLY® 1.0 Backpack they throw in with the order (13.11 sale price/was $24.99) As you can see, they are both great deals, since you are basically getting everything other than the pen for free. HTH
  21. Thanks OP. This is going to make a fabulous stocking stuffer for dd.
  22. Trust me, keep the Leapster. I can't really comment on the Pixter because my dd never had one. I bought dd9 a Leapster when they first came out (she was 5 then). Let me tell you...I have NEVER regretted that purchase. In fact, it was the best gift I ever purchased. My dd STILL won't part with hers and pulls it out every now and then, even though she now has a DS. I probably shouldn't admit to this, but I always had fun playing it too.
  23. LOL. Absolutely not! I'm a single mom who works FT+, not to mention playing chaffeur to dd's activities and social life. I grab time when I can. I'm a night owl, so I get pages done late at night while I'm watching tv. Also, on the weekends after Saturday morning football, karate, and whatever else she's got going at the time, sometimes we get together with her friends and their moms...we scrapbook while the kids play together. Trust me, it's not easy, and I sometimes go weeks without completing any pages. But when I can carve out scrapbooking time I give myself permission not to create masterpieces for every page. That way I get more pages done in a shorter amount of time. Also, I keep a sketch pad with me and I sketch out a lot of my layouts ahead of time so that when I have time to scrap I don't have to spend a lot of time brainstorming. HTH.
