  1. Last year they had the 25% off toys and they also had their annual B2G1F deal on video games and board games (so board games were not part of the 25% coupon offer). So there's a good chance the board games will be part of the B2G1F deal again this year.
  2. Bumping this contest which ends tonight
  3. Would be nice if Walmart brought back those weekend sales they had years ago leading up the BF. I remember there being some decent deals in those sales.
  4. Had some time and shipped the first batch of survival kits today. I'll still ship the photo caption contest prizes over the weekend but I wanted to get these out ASAP.
  5. 5 days without posting in here? Sure, everyone gets their prize and then forgets about the thread
  6. Also, for those lucky enough to get a voucher for a t-shirt in your survival kits, follow the instructions on it to claim your prize. Due to the very limited nature of these shirts, if your preferred size isn't available, you'll have the option of either choosing a different size or else I'll put your name on the list and you'll be guaranteed a 2020 shirt in your preferred size.
  7. https://www.groupon.com/deals/n-sams-club-membership-packages-3 Also I'd expect the Sam's Club 1-day sale ad to come out as soon as Friday.
  8. The quantity and quality of deals that pop up determines my budget each year.
  9. https://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/MoreSales/SamsClubIS Valid 10/30 to 12/1 Also in the catalog is the announcement that Sam's will have their big one-day-only pre-Black Friday sale on November 9th this year.

  12. For smaller Kohl's purchases, before BF they've been doing the Veteran's Day sale where you get $10 off $25, then 30% off and free shipping for Kohl's Charge cardholders. You basically get $25 in stuff for $10 shipped. I usually place 5-10 orders each year during that sale.
  13. Just a reminder that the first batch of kits will ship this weekend after the photo caption contest ends. So if you have won a kit and haven't received it, no need to worry - you haven't been forgotten.
  14. Couple of pre-Black Friday ads from Costco while we wait for their actual BF ad: Online-Only Savings: https://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/MoreSales/CostcoOnline November Coupons: https://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/MoreSales/CostcoNov

  15. Looking like the weekends are the most popular so far. We won't have one this weekend because a lot of areas have Halloween stuff going on Saturday and/or Sunday but the following weekend we'll try having a scheduled chat and hopefully will have some bigger ads to discuss by then.
  16. They've had 25% off coupons here and there. They also usually offer a free $10 gift card with $50 purchase during November.
  17. https://corporate.bestbuy.com/best-buy-kicks-off-holiday-season-with-free-next-day-delivery-on-thousands-of-items/ Free next day delivery on most items and free shipping on everything else - no minimum purchase needed.

  19. As I do every year, I looked at the data from the past 4 years including when each store's ad was posted and the date Black Friday fell on each year. Based on these numbers and this year's Black Friday date (November 29th), here is the "average" day you can expect these ads this year: November 6 - Kohl's November 7 - JCPenney November 11 - Target November 11 - Macy's November 12 - Best Buy, Sam's Club November 13 - Walmart November 18 - GameStop November 19 - Lowe's November 21 - Home Depot You can go back through the last 13 years to see the leaked dates for many stores here: https://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/Dates This year Black Friday falls on the latest possible date, the 29th (last year it was on the earliest possible date, the 23rd). This is going to make it especially difficult to accurately predict when the bigger ads will drop this year. For example, if a store has leaked their ad on the 2nd Tuesday of November the last couple years, will that still happen or will they push it to the 3rd Tuesday because of how late BF is this year? Or some day in between? We won't know until it happens.
  20. Link: https://amzn.to/2BzVUIl They also have their toy gift guide with more selections on the same page.
  21. I still wouldn't expect more than a couple more before the end of the month, especially with BF falling so late.

  23. Check your PMs.
  24. Maybe that should be a giveaway and/or merch item we sell. I could get a bunch of cheap GD-branded flash drives and load all my personal archives onto them. I still need to scan a bunch of the older ads that we don't have clean copies (or any copies) on the Archive site yet. I've got about 30 lbs of BF ads from the last 15+ years including many that aren't on there yet.
  25. Shipping update: the first batch of survival kits will ship next week after the current photo caption contest ends, so if you've won one of them on here or Facebook, they'll be shipping soon
