I ordered this sleeve and got it a few days ago. A little pricey, but it works well, and will fit the 700 with either of the 2 batteries. I got the black version because I though the grey would get dirty.

The second specs you give seem like they are the real ones. Mine is around 18" wide, so that's about right.

I usually post a big batch of deals every morning between 7-9am CST, so if you check at 9am, you should see most of them. then i'll add more throughout the day as they are found. you can also subscribe to the daily deal update which will e-mail you the deals at your choice of 3 times every day. Some people sign up for all 3 times so they never miss anything.

I get a little over 2 hours with the standard battery with wireless on. The 8 cell does stick out a little more on the back. It depends on how you plan on using it (more at home vs. traveling, etc...)

Damn! That's quite a deal! Any idea which "selected" models this will work on, or is it any Inspiron over $1500?
It's pretty much any Inspiron that you customize yourself. It's not good on some of the preconfigured bundles which usually come with longer warranties, etc... but if you customize your own, it will work.

That would be very unlikely because of the fact that other than hosting and a very small amount of advertising, we basically have no expenses other than our time, so what would we do with your investment?
If a member wants to make $ off of gottadeal, you can inquire about setting up a co-branded site with your own web site if you have one. Or we possibly could set up a private-label deal site for you to promote yourself and we could share the revenues. We'd host, update and maintain the site - you'd just have to get people to go to it.
