If they have it on their site, there is a very good chance they will have it online. They might even put it for the lower price on Thanksgiving itself.

They aren't too far behind last year. The retailers are slowly getting more protective of the ads to try and prevent them from appearing on sites like this, so that could be part of it as well.

Great topic.
I can't remember one particular thing, but I do remember 2 or 3 years ago getting all 4 or 5 things I wanted from BestBuy on their website on Thanksgiving day with free shipping so I didn't have to bother going the next day.

Hey I might be able to get a Menards insider. My MIL knows someone who works there. She is going to see if she can get the ads. If she does she said I can borrow them to put on this site.

I have a problem using that feature, If I select My Shopping List I see some Zire PDAs from Office Max, but if I select Office Max from the main page I see no Zire PDAs.

Should be soon... TRU just had their big Buy 2 Get 1 Free deal on all video games a week or so ago, so I don't think they'll have anything much better than that, but I hope I'm wrong.

I'd like to find an awesome deal on a DVD/VCR combo. And my daughter is wanting a digital camera. Lord knows that with five kids, there's a million things I wish would go on sale!
Target has a Daewoo DVD/VCR combo starting today for $78.88.
On Black Friday itself, OfficeMax has one for $59.99, RadioShack has one for $69.99 and Sears has a Toshiba for $99.99.

I have no idea. I don't specifically remember a Frys ad last year, but I have no Frys stores around here

We only have the Sears ad (the actual scanned copy) right now. The other items we list on the main site and many are linked to the actual product pages on the retailer's web sites.
As for learning the ropes, just read all the other threads in this forum and you'll know more than you ever wanted to know, lol.

I believe Sears is going to have many of their items available online as they put "also available at sears.com" next to most of the items in the ad. Plus they mention free shipping as well, so chances are you'll be able to get most of those deals without having to set foot in a store.

We decided to remove the Radio Shack scan after we were mistakenly accused of "stealing" it from another site (the same site which created an account on our forum, took our Sears scans, and used them with no credit on their site while telling their visitors to click on ads in exchange for downloading the ads
). In fact we we're e-mailed info about the ad from one of our visitors, as has happened with most of the other ads. We then uploaded the files to our server with a GottaDeal watermark, just in case others wanted to hotlink to them and use our bandwidth - people would know where they were from. If people are going to use our resources, we just wanted a little advertising in return.
The sale ad items are still available in our main database. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We could argue about it, but some people just aren't worth the time...
This is our only comment on this matter.

I just finished linking most of the Radio Shack items. I got all of them but 5, and those I just linked to the home page as you might be able to find them on BF itself.
Some of the prices are the same now as they are in the ad...

A lot of stores will match some of their BF deals. Many will lower the prices on Thanksgiving day, so you can get some stuff early. We'll have a complete list of items available online when the day comes, so just bookmark the site and you'll be set.
