  1. Some more:

Uniden TRU8865-2 5.8 GHz Digital Expandable Cordless Speakerphone with Caller ID - $129.99 Shipped:

    http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0001F9KLO

Northwestern Bell 5.8GHz System at Buy.com for $99 shipped:

I still think the VTech for $85 shipped is the best deal, even if it includes the answeing machine. Sells everywhere else for $100, so it's a nice price. Pretty good reviews as well. I'll post again if I find something else.

  2. Our good friend BobbyDouglas should post for himself :tongue1:

Personally, if you want DVI I would go with the Dell 1703FP. It is Dell's best 17" model and has DVI, plus all the nifty features of the larger models like the height-adjustable stand, thin bezel, etc...

They have it for 10% off at Dell Home through tomorrow, and (although you didn't hear this from me) there will be a $35 off $450 coupon code tomorrow (we have it - just can't post it yet), so you will be able to get it for $414 shipped - which is $5 more than it was yesterday when they had a $40 coupon, but that's the way things go. :fedora:

And if you don't care about DVI, that Sceptre model at Amazon for $319 AR is a very nice deal.

  3. PC Magazine Review - http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1604872,00.asp

From that review: "The flash drive's storage is set up in two partitions, one public and one secure. When you first insert the device in your PC's USB port, only the public partition mounts. Password or fingerprint authentication is required to mount and view the resizable secure partition."

So the stuff you put on the public partition would mount like a normal plug & play drive. Read the review for more info - there is Windows Explorer and IE integration as well as standard file protection.

  4. Hey BobbyDouglas - welcome to the forum :)

Unique request. I didn't even know such things were available. After looking around, it looks to me like your best bet is this Sony USM-128C 128MB Micro Vault at Buy.com for $84.92 with free shipping. Seems to have everything you want.

For price comparison, check out Pricegrabber and you'll see Buy.com is the cheapest. Amazon has it for $110.

    More Info From Sony

  5. As for the wireless adapter, there are 2 main choices. Here is the cheapest prices I could find for each:

Linksys Wireless-B Game Adapter - $52.64 shipped at Amazon

Microsoft Wireless-G Xbox Adapter - $78.24 shipped at Amazon

If you have a 802.11g adapter, the MS one might be worth the extra cost, otherwise I've heard great things about the Linksys one. Computers4Sure carries the Linksys model for a few bucks more (search for WGA11B), so you could add it to your existing order or place a separate order from Amazon to save a few bucks.

  6. Dany,

Here is the best I could do:

This is through Computers4Sure, which is owned by OfficeDepot, so it's a legit company.

First add the XBox Console for $149.99. Next add this Network Cable for $1.95 to get your order total over $150.

On the screen with your shopping cart, on the right column in really tiny print you will see a link to enter a coupon code. Click that link and enter coupon code LSC994 to save $15 off a $150 order.

You also get free shipping. The total should end up being $136.94 shipped. No tax for GA residents either :)

    Hope this helps.
