  1. Othello Battling Tops Tumblin Monkey Kerplunk Uno Deluxe :)
  2. Another reason for the bigger link is that a lot of people were coming to the site right to the forum and perhaps didn't even realize that we have an actual site in addition to the forum, so hopefully those people see the link and click it to see where it takes them :)
  3. And if people don't want them cluttering the forum, they shouldn't reply Seriously, usually if it's just one thread I'll either close or delete it, but there were like 10 of them this morning so I just never got around to doing anything with them other than editing them and banning the person responsible.
  4. as part of the color scheme change (to go along with a minor color change on the main site), we have added a much more prominent link to the main site in the upper right corner of the forum pages.
  5. OK, I modified the forum source code to no longer display the PM pop-up. Instead there is a checkbox when you go to write a new PM. By default, the checkbox is checked, so if you don't uncheck it you will be requesting a receipt, just that the popup won't appear.
  6. Merchant Reviews: http://gottadeal.pricegrabber.com/rating_getreview.php/r=707/m=3761050
  7. We've already had this discussion, lol: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=4462
  8. That's where vBulletin puts it. You should have both the main site and forum bookmarked anyway I'll see about adding it somewhere near the top of the page as well.
  9. I'd personally stay away. The fact that they basically stole Overstock.com's Holiday graphic (look at the "4 weekends left" part, lol) and just edited it a little to make it seem like their own tells you what kind of business they are running...
  10. For a basic unit I'd recommend the Pioneer DEH-P2600: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Pioneer-In-Dash-CD-Player--DEH-P2600-/sem/rpsm/oid/87378/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do If you want MP3-CD playback, go with the P4600 model for a little more.
  11. Overstock is going to have a $50 off $350 coupon tomorrow, which is another very good coupon - comes out to just under 15% off if you maximize the savings.
  12. Pricegrabber isn't that helpful for toys and video games because they do not list a lot of the merchants that have them for the cheapest prices, such as Amazon.
  13. none wrapped and none under the tree :)
  14. I play it occasionally. If you like playing poker it can be fun, and you can make a few bucks. They are completely legit as far as paying you, etc... Also, if anyone signs up using one of the codes in the original message, just PM me with your PP username and which code you used and I'll send you $10 extra via PayPal (or a $10 Amazon GC if you don't have a PayPal account). This is in addition to any bonuses you get from PartyPoker itself.
  15. The original posted was spamming with his own referral codes, so we just replaced his codes with GottaDeal-approved codes :)
  16. I've always said that the Club O membership only makes a lot of sense when you are going to buy something obscenely expensive where the 5% discount will make a difference. For most purchases under $400 or so, there are always plenty of Overstock coupons to save you between 7-10% off.
  17. From the Club O terms: "Club O Membership benefits do not apply in conjunction with any coupons, including affiliate offered coupons"
  18. Usually it won't take both a coupon and the discount, so this may be one of those cases. Although I've seen it work if you clear your cookies, activate the coupon, and then go to the discounted item page that Chris posted and add the item to your cart. No guarantees but I've seen it work in the past. This coupon is good for items that Chris can't offer discounts on or items that you need to order over the weekend and can't wait for Chris to respond to your offer on Monday.
  19. yep. and the forums launched on 6/1/04 IIRC
  20. Good this weekend only: http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=RjWYtCqO0*M&offerid=57189.10001477&type=4&subid=0 Expires 12/6
  21. It was $189.99 after rebate when I posted it this morning. Buy.com must have raised the price sometime today
  22. It was a one-time fluke, lol. It was an open-box model at BestBuy. They were just putting it out. Apparently somebody bought it, realized what it cost for being "just a radio" and returned it without the FM antenna. So I was able to get it for under $50 IIRC. I already had an extra antenna, so it worked perfectly. The radio itself was basically brand new.
  23. I know I've seen a GE CD model at Sam's Club for around $30 as well.
  24. Alot of the models can be found at your local Target/Walmart/BB/CC so you could take a look at them in person before ordering (assuming you can get them cheaper online). I used to have a CD clock radio from RCA that worked well, but now I have a radio-only model, but it's a nice one that I got a very hot deal on.
  25. Here are some options I found with a quick search: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00008UVA9 http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00009ZUDD http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005AAMR http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=90141983 If you are willing to get a refurbished model, check Overstock.com and request a deal from Chris in the other thread as OS has quite a few name-brand models around your price range.
