Dell UltraSharp 2001FP & 2005FPW 20" LCDs - $506 Shipped
Brad replied to GottaDEAL's topic in Online Hot Deals
They just released a new $55 code to replace the other one that had the max 2000 uses. The new code is 2202KZX7B311VC. So both LCDs are once again available for $506 :) -
i'll see about adding them. they don't have as many coupons and don't usually let us know about them ahead of time like dell home. many of the dell business coupons are one-time-use that they send out via e-mail.
-
The new coupons are now in the database. They are listed on the new coupon page, but the actual codes won't be displayed until the times listed :)

Added the list of expired coupons at the bottom of the page. For now it'll list all of them, but once the list gets too long I might have it show the last X number of coupons or from the last X number of weeks/months. Also, if it makes it easier to remember, you can also access that page using this URL: http://dell.gottadeal.com

Dell UltraSharp 2001FP & 2005FPW 20" LCDs - $506 Shipped

I think the $55 code has been used the maximum 2,000 times. I'll edit the deal on the main page. -
Glad you like it. Now we just wait for the next batch of coupons. I'll probably add a list of the expired coupons at the bottom so you guys can use it to compare the current deals and see how they compare to deals in the past.

I just coded a new page on the site for nothing but Dell coupons: http://www.gottadeal.com/dell.php Rather that add them to our standard coupon database, it's a little easier to do it this way because of the different restrictions Dell puts on their coupons (expiration times during the middle of the day, maximum number of uses, etc...). We usually get informed of upcoming coupons a few days in advance, so now I can just throw them in the database right then, and once they go live, they will automatically be on that page with all the corresponding details. I was going to save this feature for our next site design, but with all the great deals at Dell lately, I thought it would be better to get the page up now. In the future we'll probably add something where you can be notified via e-mail when new coupons go live, but for now, just bookmark it and we'll link to it somewhere on the main site.

What would that system cost through Dell Home with the $300 coupon?
-
I just checked and Dell is already giving 25-30% off most of their "good" systems, so you won't be saving much if at all with the coupons. The best time to buy is when you can use the coupon with a system that has a mail-in rebate. That way you get both discounts. This is similar to what I did with my laptop. They had a $500 off coupon and a $200 rebate so I got both. When they already reduce prices by a certain %, 99% of the $-off coupons don't stack.

The only coupon I know of this weekend is: $300 off and free shipping with select online Dimension Desktops priced at $899+ using coupon code XB8$9D8VJ9VS94. Keep in mind that the $300 coupon will cancel out any %-off discount a system might already have. But you might be able to configure something right around $900 and the coupon will then take 33% off which isn't too bad if you have to buy today.

The last one on the list is about 25 minutes from here. Don't know if it's worth the trip. Anyone know what % discounts most stuff is being offered at?
-
i posted this item as a deal from overstock.com a few weeks ago for $40. i believe we sold a few through the site at that price (they are sold out now as well) so for $9.99 it's a killer deal. i'll have to check one of our big lots today just in case.

Just like that - new Dell LCD deals: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=6306
-
Keep in mind that pretty much all 17" and 19" LCDs have the same resolution (1280x1024) so unless your eyesight isn't that great, you might want to save $100-150 and go with the 17" since both will give you the same amount of screen real estate. You should be able to get a 17" model for anywhere from $199-249 depending on brand/quality. Of course another option is to go for the Dell 2001FP for around $530 the next time it goes on sale with a coupon at Dell. Here are some good options at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/feature/-/556351

I just enabled them. Happy now? :)

Just click the link you just posted and it automatically gets converted to the affiliate link :)

There are usually no great deals during the weekend (I think there is a 10% off $1299+ coupon good through Tuesday), so you'll have to wait a few days until the next batch of coupons comes out.
-
Both are very good deals - Buy.com seems to be the cheapest for both models on Pricegrabber. It's probably worth the extra $10 get to with the Pro version, although besides USB 2.0 I don't see much of a difference, and I don't know if having 2.0 will make any difference anyway.

creative labs and logitech pretty much have the market cornered on webcams these days. take a look at this model: http://gottadeal.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=1165829/blsrt=1 note newegg's low price compared to everyone else (excluding refurbs). can't tell if it's silver or white though. also: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00009V7MU
