If you can get close to 12 months I'd say it's a very good option. Like I said, it has basically all the advantages of the Citi Dividend, plus the 0% on purchases which in your case really helps.

The Amazon Visa (at least my business version of it) is also done through Chase/BankOne/FirstUSA and those gift certificates are sent automatically. But I suppose they want to try to get you to get gift certificates from their "preferred" merchant partners instead of the cash. It would be nice if you could get higher-$ GCs instead of cash - i.e. choose $100 cash or $150 Best Buy gift card, etc...

This card is new and basically has the same features as the Citi Dividend card that everyone loves. It gives you the 0% APR on BOTH purchases and balances for up to a year (the Citi card just does it for balances)
