Well your first post said the video card has DVI out, so you should be able to get pretty much any of those cards (I'd recommend the $99 Fusion since it's cheap), and then output from the video card to your TV with a DVI-to-HDMI cable. Your TV also has a VGA input, so you could use a DVI-to-VGA adapter and do it that way. Finally, you can get a DVI-to-component video adapter that works with ATI cards and connect that way. Since your TV's resolution is 1366x768 and only 23", you might not notice much difference between either of the 3 methods.

tell me: - what you are using the PC for (as a HTPC, as a regular PC but want to watch/record HDTV, etc...)? - is the Samsung LCD TV going to be the only display you use? - what video card is in the PC now?
-
Yes, HDMI is basically DVI with digital audio. You can get a relatively cheap DVI-to-HDMI cable. However you don't need the HDTV card to have DVI - you can output from your video card's DVI output just as easily. The MyHD card can give you DVI out if you buy the $75 daughtercard: http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=201695304&loc= so you're getting close to $300 total. I'd rather buy the $99 Fusion card and use my video card's DVI output (or use the $200 difference towards a better video card if you need it)

Pretty much any of those cards will let you record HDTV. The other 3 I linked to are also compatible with Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 so you can have an HD PVR that way as well.
-
The difference between the 2 Fusion cards is for $50 more you get AV-out (composite and S-Video only) and an IR remote with USB receiver.

if you just want to use the keyboard/mouse you don't need a "hub" but an "adapter" like this: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00006B7DB It uses the Widcomm BT stack, which is compatible with the Logitech set.

Also FYI, Best Buy is going to have that Linksys model also for $39.99 (no rebates) starting tomorrow if you just want to go pick it up.
-
That would be my recommendation, unless you need something that the hacked firmware of the regular WRT54G provides. This one is smaller, cheaper and works well from what I've read.
-
and for the extra $200 for the $1199 model you gain: 1.28GB RAM vs 768MB RAM Microsoft Office Basic vs Microsoft Works Office Basic sells for around $150, so it's probably not worth it as you are also only getting 512MB more of RAM. You're better off getting the $999 version, selling the MS Works on eBay and then buying Office and RAM elsewhere if you need it.

Yes the Entertainment books are very good for car rentals. They have pretty much all the major brands and many different coupons, so depending on how long you need it, you almost have to try each one to see what discount it gives you (free day vs. $XX dollars off vs. free upgrade, etc...)
-
No, but that is a good idea. We'll have to think about it.
-
Not this one. We have one XXL left and that's it. The next shirt we do we'll be taking advance requests for other sizes so we're sure to order enough for those who want them.

Now Valid! Here is my recommended configuration: Keep the base system ($1327) 8-cell Lithium Ion Additional Battery (65 WHr) [add $129] 2Yr Ltd Warranty, 2Yr At-Home Service, and 2Yr Technical Support [add $60] Total: $1516 - $750 = $766 That gives you an extra year of warranty, plus 2 batteries - the smaller one when you need the smaller size/weight and the larger one when you need extended usage time. 1.7GHz Pentium-M, 60GB Hard Drive, DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive, 256MB RAM, WiFi and more.

3.5 RC2 was released last week. I'd expect it to go gold in the next 2-3 weeks. We'll probably upgrade over Labor Day weekend assuming it has gone gold by then.

I've never seen any coupons ever for walmart.com - free shipping or otherwise. they usually have pretty good shipping rates regardless.

Brad replied to GottaDEAL's topic in Online Hot Deals
I think if there is no rush a good idea might be to wait for the new LCDs and DLPs with the 1920x1080 (true 1080p) resolution. There are a few (expensive) models out now - I just posted a deal a few days ago for a cheaper LCD model - but the big brands (Sharp, Toshiba, JVC, Samsung, etc...) should all be bringing out new models in the next 6 months. 1920x1080 is the resolution for the proposed HD-DVD and Blu-Ray standards that are currently fighting things out. So if you are going to spend a good amount of money for an HDTV, you might want to do whatever you can to make sure it'll last as long as you need it to. -
I also saw one made by RCA at CircuitCity.com for $75.99 shipped.
