Yes, you'll have to answer the anti-spammer question towards the bottom of the "edit profile" page: http://forums.gottadeal.com/profile.php?do=editprofile in order for it to save any other changes you make to that page. The anti-spammer thing is just temporary due to automated spam-bots being able to bypass the normal registration process. The only time you have to fill it in is at registration or the first time you need to make any changes to your profile.

When I replied to his e-mail (basically telling him we may or may not comply and he'd have to check the site every day to be sure), I made sure to refer to him as Chad instead of Chadwick, just to annoy him, lol.

that should not be that "hot" at all. most of the online stores (amazon, walmart) have been taking orders for months and would have stopped if they didn't have enough stock to fill those orders. as with last year with the cookie monster and ernie, expect them to massively overproduce them, and you'll probably find them for $20 on clearance in january.

I think the main thing is "claiming" the item(s) and then they worry about getting it to the front of the store later, lol.

Many of the old expired contest and freebies threads were deleted a few months ago, so that probably is the reason.

I have to agree. Overall I think CC employees are more knowledgeable than BB. And they aren't as annoying as BB with the "buy the extended warranty!!!" stuff.

Correct, Target basically kicked us out of their affiliate program (without any warning) for posting their ad last year. Despite the fact that they did not do it to other sites and the fact that earlier in the year they wanted to purchase advertising on the BF site for their sale. So Target is no better (and perhaps worse) than WM. At least WM gave us advance notice.

gift cards should be accepted with no problems on BF. as for the ipod nano, since it just came out you won't see any big price drops. amazon would be your best bet as they normally have them for $10-20 cheaper than the list price, plus free shipping and no sales tax for most. on BF, stores can't advertise ipods for less than list price, so they make up for it by including accessories, itunes gift cards, etc... to make the deal better, but i still think amazon is the best option if you don't have to pay tax.

They usually only take preorders if they have enough to fill them. The Elmo Live won't be as hard to find as previous Elmo dolls, so you should have no problem with the order getting filled.
