Gporter34 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Wonder if that wish list is made yet?!?!?!
hinman Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Does anyone know when the ad leaked last year or when word of what is in the ad leaked
Brad Posted November 12, 2009 Author Posted November 12, 2009 Does anyone know when the ad leaked last year or when word of what is in the ad leakedLast year someone on the forum here sent me the ad on 11/13. If you remember, CNN posted a story with highlights from the ad on 11/14. And for the record, we're not going to allow any kind of "Santa's Wish List" on here. Once it's leaked, I'll let my Walmart reps know and hopefully like last year once they see they can't contain it from spreading all over the net, we'll be allowed to post the full ad.

arf110106 Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Thanks Brad! Hope it gets leaked SOON!Me too!
manomelissa Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Oh no worries about posting the list. If I'm remembering correctly, my friend from years past just sent their list to all of our inboxes because he wanted to make things more personal. You know, build that Christmas kinship and all that.

The internet is the giant that can't be stopped.
Deal Grabber Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Can someone point me in the direction of last years WM blackfriday ad?Or the section that talks about what items WM put up online.I found the archives for 2008 but cant find any ads.Thxs.
Gporter34 Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 (edited) Wish WM would be nice and let us see, lol... Edited November 13, 2009 by Gporter34 being nice
krissy72 Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I have been searching for 2 weeks and cannot find it anywhere on the net. Must be under a different spelling or different name so the legal eagles can't find it in a search.
bigjimslade Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Please no talking about searching for the WM ad else where. We need to keep WM happy. If you want to search do it in private. Thanks!
jeff7602 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 The wait is now down to just Walmart for me!!! Cmon Wally...let's get this thing out there so I can start making a game plan!
riven3d Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 same here, Im trying to map out what stores, im gonna just buy from online, and what stores I actually have to drag myself out to
manomelissa Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Me too and Walmart is trying really hard to lose my business this year. Not that they'll notice.
sweetdiggity Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I've gotten some shopping done online, and after looking at the ads that are already out, I see nothing I need. Kind of a bummer, but as of now, it looks like I'll just stay home on BF. I might go to Kmart and Walgreens just for the heck of it and to pick up a few not so important things, but it really depends on Walmart if I'll go out for sure. Last year Wally World was the only store I went to. Price matched some things from Target, and had a good time. Hoping for a good ad.
lilac100 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I'm just watching their special sales leading up to it. They've had some good deals.
lennon2004 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 As a reminder, please read Brad's thread about the ad here.
magickallight Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I just hope Amazon has gotten hold of the ad and is planning another price war! I could SO handle that!
amyers12345 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I just hope Amazon has gotten hold of the ad and is planning another price war! I could SO handle that! I've got an account FULL of Amazon gift cards and I'm hoping for just that!
jeff7602 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 ditto...cmon amazon! beat those Walmart prices that "aren't out yet"
iluvwalmart Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 It would have to be a significant amount cheaper for me to shop at Amazon. I have Walmart gift cards plus hubby's 10% discount this year. :)
manomelissa Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I would love to see Amazon price match. For me that's an another 7% savings in taxes.
kstategrad Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Me too! I've got my $100 promo credit from the XBOX360 deal and I am hoping that there will be a $99 netbook for my 8 year old so he will quit hijacking my laptop. :) Anyone know when Amazon's Black Friday deals were leaked/posted last year? I searched but could not find info on that. C'mon Amazon!
Brad Posted November 16, 2009 Author Posted November 16, 2009 Anyone know when Amazon's Black Friday deals were leaked/posted last year? I searched but could not find info on that.Amazon's deals aren't usually "leaked" because they don't have any printed ads to get out early. Last year we just had to wait until midnight Thursday night and the deals were there. They also had their Gold Box "Lightning Deals" every hour of the day.

LOL I just thought that their deals were advertised a little sooner than Thanksgiving. Thanks, Brad...I knew you'd know!
crazypurgatory Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I forgot when does the walmart ad come out this Monday or next Monday? Thanks,:)
