  1. I'm disappointed. I'll be out, but for tradition, not shopping.
  2. I'm unimpressed with this years ad to say the least.
  3. I would love to see Amazon price match. For me that's an another 7% savings in taxes.
  4. Me too and Walmart is trying really hard to lose my business this year. Not that they'll notice.
  5. Oh no worries about posting the list. If I'm remembering correctly, my friend from years past just sent their list to all of our inboxes because he wanted to make things more personal. You know, build that Christmas kinship and all that.
  6. Our Walmart doesn't have any ticket system but we also do not have any trouble like this. There's a line at the front and people just hang out and chat and then when the doors are open, we're let in. Anyone trying to walk up and do a sudden cut is stopped until the entire line that was outside waiting is in. There's no pushing, shoving, fussing, anything like that, that I've ever seen and there is even a lot of helping with people helping others get items they need if that person happens to be in a group and someone is alone. It gets crowded in electronics, but still I've never seen outright rude. Maybe it's because we're in a small southern town and there's no BB or anything else around here, I don't know, but in 8 years of BF's I've not had a bad experience. But I think it's a sad situation all around and I think Walmart could definitely have done something more to control the crowd, especially if they're aware that they don't have the most courteous of customer on a regular day, then they should know there could be trouble on a day like BF.
  7. I just saw this and I must say this tease is the ultimate in cruelty... ah man...
  8. I don't remember where it was, but a few years ago I remember someone posted a letter to Santa. I remember thinking they were the luckiest person in the world when just so happened Wal.art had everything that they were looking for available on the day after Thanksgiving. Santa must have really thought they were good that year to have talked Wal... into hooking them up like that.
  9. Is it really necessary that they pull employees in on Thanksgiving? Can't they have the sale the day before, day after? Seriously, it's not a hospital, people don't HAVE to be there. I LOVE some Black Friday sales, but it's getting a bit over the top.
  10. We love our Leapster, we have the original and have played games from LMax and Leapster 2 in it with no problem.
  11. This completed my final two ads today. Thanks.
  12. Buyer beware, this game has bad reviews on ZDnet, CNet, Gamespot and Gamezone. Maybe at $10 it won't be so bad, but certainly not worth $50.
  13. Cedartown, GA here, starting at Walmart because that's all we have and then moving to Rome, GA to Toys R Us, then possibly Cartersville or Hiram, GA to Target.
  14. Walmart is the only store in my town to shop at. We have nothing else other than the grocery store. In any case, I won't be there on BF just because they have nothing at a price I want that day unless they come out with some crazy last minute doorbusters that haven't been circulated yet. Almost everything I was interested in is still the same price as it always is. Can get lots for less elsewhere if you're savvy and know how to work those discount and free shipping codes.
  15. Interesting is a relative term I guess. I found nothing to be of interest to me at all. Lack Luster would be much more fitting.
  16. We returned ours, it was horrible, it had severe ghosting on everything we tried to watch. We bought a Sylvania and it's awesome, we love it.
  17. We only have Walmart and Kroger where I'm from, I refuse to shop Walmart's groceries though as ours are actually higher on most items, if you watch the Kroger sales and especially if you play grocerygame.com, you can save TONS by shopping Kroger. The few things that my Kroger are higher than walmart on, is only by a few cents, nothing that makes it significant enough to warrant going to Walmart at all. If you've got the time to clip some coupons, I highly recommend grocerygame.com to save on your bill.
