Am I the only one disappointed in what's offered in the Customers Vote program this year? Last year I remember they had a week with young children's toys, not this year... :(

I only saw the mixer really and not much else. I thought I remembered toys too. I know one year when they did the race thing I got an Elmo.

I thought it was OK...but then my kids are too old for toys so i wasn't looking for those. The mixer is a real steal, I have that model that i paid $300 +/- for and I love it.

I voted, but there was nothing I wanted or needed so if I got the chance to buy something, I'd pass.

I agree, nothing that I am really impressed with!

Ahhh, that Netbook seemed like a good deal. ($129)

I voted and the only one I didn't get right was the night vision goggles. I voted for the family PS3 thinking that most people would choose it even though I'd rather have the Action (James Bond) one. As for the deals, I'd buy any offered. We don't have any of the items currently in first place.

I'm hoping Amazon has a GREAT price on a 500gb External Hard Drive. I'm going to get one for my brother for Christmas and I'd like to get it on Amazon so I can just ship it straight to him.

The Mixer is a GREAT deal!!! I also would buy the laptop for $129 but just use it for digitally scrapbooking :tongue1: Otherwise, I am not too interested in the other things. My kiddos are at the in between age. Still want toys but are really too big for toys. This is gonna' be a hard Christmas for poor Santa.

You would not enjoy using graphics programs on an 8.9" screen and the single-core 1.6 Ghz processor would be poky while doing it.

Since I need to buy 2 more laptops yet, I would love that little one. It would be perfectly fine for DD9 since she only plays online games like Webkinz.

Would it be good just to play online games with? We have high speed wireless internet.

Yeah, flash based games should be fine, as long as they don't require 3-D visualization (like first-person shooters, stuff like that).

But by and large, you should be fine. It would also be good for AIM, e-mail, general web surfing.

Not very good for creating school papers, unless you added an external monitor and full-size keyboard and mouse (the laptop would operate almost like a tower).

The Samsung 46" LCD HDTV is an awesome deal, and so are the PS3 options. One of our friends wants that tv, so we're all hoping one of us will get the email.

Will the Sony Blu Ray be on sale, not for the customer vote price, but maybe for something like $199.99 on Friday? If Kmart.com sells out and Sears runs out, Amazon.com would be my last choice.

Wow, that is quite a list! You know there isn't any one big thing that I want this year but there are lots of little things!!! I want Brain Age for my ds on Wii... I wonder if I just take my laptop out to the car if the wireless will work that far so my kids don't try to get online or interupt my shopping Friday when I get home!!!

My Sims Kingdom for the Wii is actually $46.99 on Amazon's website, not $29.99. If it is really going to be on sale for $19.99, that would be an amazing deal! My bet is that whoever posted this meant the DS version, which is $27.99 now (was $29.99). I'm keeping my fingers crossed - I want the Wii version for DS.
