Did anyone have problems with newspapers not having all the ads

I stopped at a convient store as the papers were being delivered. I had to go through 4 to get the best buy ad only to find out that Sears, Circuit city and Lowes was not in the ad plus I had two walmart which I could do without LOL. I had to on later that day to find the paper with the ads I was missing. I did get them but it was hard everyone was sold out

I didn't have a problem like that this year.

 

Last year however, my paper was missing a couple of ads. I didn't care about a couple of the ads that where missing, but not having the Radio Shack ad kind of sucked.

None of our papers (mine, mom's, and my sister's) had Ace or Radio Shack.

Absolutely.... I bought 4 papers (they had a $10 Macys coupon that my wife wanted), and there were two papers missing ads, and different ones at that.

My mom works for a local paper and ads are distributed by zip code. Papers going to subscribers in a certain zip codes get first dibs, if there are any left over ads they are added to single copy paper sold at convenience stores and paper machines. Not all stores print equal number of ads either.

Yes, we had this problem. We didn't get Kohl's, Sears, Lowe's, Big Lots or ACE. Those are just the ones I remember off the top of my head! Also, our newspaper raised their price from the daily rate of 50 cents to $1.75 for the Thanksgiving issue! Normally even the thanksgiving paper is only 50 cents.

I bought six papers (big family) but I stopped at two 7'11 stores to get them. I was disappointed that out of six papers we were missing the Macy's ad.

We get ours delivered, and it was missing ads.

I can remember not receiving Sears, CC, Ritz, and Ace off the top of my head.

Might be a few others, but I guess I didnt miss them. LOL

I never get all the ads in our newspaper!!!! I havn't gotten KBToys like 2 years in a row. I come to expect it now.

We bought two different papers (NY Post and NY Newsday) at a corner store, so we got most of them. We did not get ACE Hardware or Sears. Stoped by an ACE we saw while traveling on Saturday and got all the things I wanted, thanks to GottaDeal.

the ONE that i really wanted - michael's - was NOT in the paper we got. i really wanted those turkey bucks, and of course, a copy was not available at the store.

but i have this problem on a regular basis- depending on where i buy it, i either have no michaels or no kohls and toys r us. the toys r us is most frustrating to me becuase there is only one in town and therefore i think it shoudl be distributed everywehre. but i have to plan ahead to decide whre to buy the paper based on the sales/my needs that week.

Yes, my Saturday paper that dh brought home was defective. It had no Target ad.

i didn't get the paper on sunday but we get the ads with out flyiers each week. but we didn't get the one for kolhs BF ad till sat the 24th.

In western Ny area In 2 papers i was missing bonton 10/10.. and couldnt get any papers at any stores.. i was so bummed til a lady in line at the store had an extra she gave me.. that was a sweet thing she did. I will plan ahead next year and get a paper first thing in the am..:)

some papers have ads out earlier throughout the week and not have them in thanksgiving paper...this is why i buy lotws of papers throughout the week...

The one that I bought didn't have Target, Sears or Best Buy. Then I have to go out again and bought a different one. This one had all the one missing. None of them had Walmart, but I got it few days before by itself on the mail.
