  1. Also part of the minority. We hit Penney's or Macy's early in the day. Then the older daughter goes with the fiancé for his family's Thanksgiving and the younger daughter and I have tacos or lasagna and watch football. None of us like turkey or stuffing or cranberries. When I was Christmas help a few years a go at Target I volunteered to work Thanksgiving and was told all those hours were for regular employees - and the manager had a wait-list because she couldn't accommodate everyone wanting hours.
  2. Ordered two gift cards through my bank using my "rewards points". My oldest daughter and her fiancé are going to NYC next year. She wants to shop at the Macy's there. And, I'm still waiting on the husband to give me his DVD list for TV shows.
  3. I'll order online but without a Snow Globe, I won't go into the store.
  4. Yes, the SPREE10 code worked for me. Thanks for posting it. My local JCP is very small so the items I wanted aren't located there but in a mall JCP down the highway. I'm having the items shipped to my local JCP.
  5. Just Dance 2014 is down to $29.99. Now I don't have to go to Target. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D7UHT0E/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  6. All I did was click on the pdf version, go up to File in the browser and click save as. I'm using explorer as the browser. Mary

    JCPenney

My daughter worked in Rockford IL for a while this summer at the JCP there. Before she left, she had heard that there wouldn't be a black friday ad from them this year, just a % off clearance. We have a small JCP close to the house and its always the first store I hit. I'll be bummed if there isn't a snow globe this year.
  8. Posted this on another thread, I had no problem pa'ing the Apples to Apples game I bought on Wednesday. Refunded +$7.
  9. Price adjusted the Apples to Apples game - no problem!
  10. My Target in St. Louis still had about 15 left at 630am. They also had $17 scooters, the $85 Philips portable DVD player, and a TON of movies.
  11. LOL! They may not be new. When my daughter worked there she would forget her badge and just use a "new member" one. Sometimes her name changed completely to Nicole or Debbie or whatever was handy.
  12. I have always purchased before Black Friday, waited for the line to go in and then walked up to customer service with the ad and my receipt. Never had a problem. Don't wait until Wednesday, though. The big items start getting pulled off the shelves before then. Send an email to corporate (I do this every year) and ask about the price adjustment policy concerning BF items. Target will respond that their policy is to adjust the price of any item purchased with in a two week period. If the BF ad says a monitary gift card is included, you won't get that.
  13. Working for me. I'll be stopping here first on BF!
  14. HAMPTON VILLAGE: Just talked to my daughter. She said a lot of infant stuff is on clearance but didn't know if it was 75% off. She also said shoes and some kitchen stuff are 75% off. She's going to text me today if she sees anything good.
  15. 75% off at Target on Hampton in St. Louis. My daughter works there and picked up some toys for her 9 year old sister. After that, a lady came in and bought 8 cart full of toys at 75% off. It sounds like this lady cleaned them out. She is going to resell them at a resale shop.
  16. Was it still available to buy? My daughter came home last night around 5:30 pm and she said that before her lunch all the big item stuff was pulled off the shelves. She said that it was computer driven, meaning a certain percentage had sold too quickly by that time and the team leads were informed to move it out so there would be enough for Friday. She's not looking forward to working on Friday.
  17. Its tradition for my older daughter and I to get in line for the Thanksgiving Kmart sale (after we stop and Krispy Kreme for some "snacks"). This year I'm not going. 1. I don't want to spend the money or wait in a line. 2. My YMCA is open 7am to 11am that morning so I plan to be there instead. Shopping this year just doesn't seem like fun.
  18. So, I have an update about the price adjusting debate. My daughter works for Target and now says that, YES! they are price adjusting at her store.
  19. My daughter works at Target here in St. louis. She told me this morning that, NO, her store will not be price adjusting for Black Friday sales.
  20. Some of the items actually went up in price from the other day. Not much higher but shirts that were $4.99 are now over $6.
