  1. get clearance, but not great like when I was on the Mainland. Things usually sell out by 50% here. Most things have a 20 - 40 % markup on the regular price compared to the mainland prices due to the costs of having the stuff shipped in, so I HAVE to clearance shop living here.
  2. I'd be happy with Dollar Spot being full price because we don't have Dollar Spot in Hawaii and I miss it!
  3. I am really missing all the great clearance deals I used to get at Target on the Mainland. With the Markup here in Hawaii - the deals are just not that great.
  4. I'm shocked that you still have trees in the stores. Ours went 50% off over a week before Christmas and sold out then.
  5. My son got the castle for Christmas, and even though it took 2 grown men almost 5 hours to put it together Christmas Eve night, we havent had the problems you are experiencing. A couple of small pieces have popped off but only during rough play. My son is 6. I am thinking of using clear pvc glue to permanently glue it together though so it can be easily moved. I'm sorry yours seems to be coming apart more easily.
  6. Ok someone made a mistake but I am happy they did! I found it folded on an endcap - a team member had apparentlly mistakenly attached one of those plastic price tag thingies to it with it marked 19.98 Supposed to be 99.99 the outer packaging was missing. The cashiers knew it was a mistake and said they wish they had found it before me. http://www.target.com/Simply-Shabby-Chic-Patchwork-Quilt/dp/B000JJNFSQ/qid=1235602684/ref=br_1_6/601-6855221-3155305?ie=UTF8&node=372865011&frombrowse=1&rh=&page=1 http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/5135PRiyOoL._AA260_.jpg
  7. I'm sorry! LOL My store had 3 at 50% for weeks. Went 75% off two days ago - I bought one, one other was sold that day also and one is still sitting there. These are not going as fast as the Emerson ones did a few months ago, probably because of the time of year, so hopefully you will be able to find one at 75% off when they go there. Good luck! I have been using mine for 2 days now and I love it. I have PICA due to severe anemia and I crave ice, I eat it nonstop, so this is a lifesaver for me, plus having a going away party for my husband this weekend so it will come in very handy for that as well.
  8. This one is much larger than the Emerson one was but It is made 10 times better.
  9. ###072-01-0165 Magic Chef Portable Ice Maker $42.49 (75% off - was 169.99) This is much better than the Emerson one I bought a few months ago on clearance that never worked c orrectly and finally broke last month and I returned it. So happy to find a replacement for it. Also it is larger and better construction on this one. Well worth the 75% off price.
  10. Someone returned 2 Smores to my Target last night. I walked around the store for an hour with that in my cart trying to get in touch with my neighbor in case she wanted it. I went ahead and got it though just in case since the other one was grabbed as soon as people saw me with mine. If i decide not to keep it I am taking it back when the Starbucks inside Target cashier gets off since she really wanted one.
  11. Went this morning - they did finish marking the clearance toys all are now 75% off at my store now. I got what I wanted and going back now to see if they have done decor yet. Good luck everyone
  12. bunch of bras and underwear marked 75% off at my target today - my favorite markdown team member clued me into the jewlry clearance but that is the last thing I need.
  13. my store actually had one plasma car sitting on an endcap clearance rack in toys this morning so I got it for me and the kids to share - :)
  14. when I was shopping the 75% off sale the day they marked down here One of the TM's came over and asked the MD team if anything was going 90% off that day? I said I thought toys never went 90% but they told me that sometimes they do. Interesting - but nothing but junk would be left at my store by the time that happened. The day they went 75% they sold 3 whole aisles packed of toys.
  15. Ok I went I shopped, Spent over 250 but oh so worth it! First 20 minutes I was the only customer back there so the MD team members were scanning things for me as I put them in my cart. IT was great! Did finally get the airhogs set 75% off.
  16. my store being marked down today but at 8 they hadnt made it to that dept yet. One of the team members did tell me it would be today, but with them having to scan every item it will take a while. There was one lady there with her daughter waiting. I really didnt see too much that I wanted though.
  17. Only things I really want are the wooden case poker and dominos sets that are 50% off now and any games they may clearance out that I dont have. I had to buy my sister an airline ticket today to fly down here tomorrow to be with me for my iron transfusion on friday so that took my extra shopping money (it's my first one and I am a little scared plus hubby is at sea and I needed someone to pick up the kids).
  18. And here I was talking with the store manager about stashing today. He laughs at me because all the employees know I go around looking for hidden treasures. Hey I save them some work by doing it and I'm not hiding anything just looking for stuff I want. Not that I havent misplaced an item or two in the past, but never in something else, just on the wrong shelf someplace. I am so sorry they treated you like that. Even if you did put stuff in another item, unless you walked out the door with it, you broke no laws. Went back to Target again and they had pulled cases out of the back. Got 3 boxes of Goldfish crackers, a bunch more gift bags, Lucy Peanuts annimated character, 3 animals annimated carolers thing, santa hats for the whole family for next year, 8 different pairs of holiday boxers for hubby, 79 cents a pair. 1.99 set of christmas pajamas for son and some other stuff Total Savings today was $1054.81
  19. finally went 90% off today. It was comical. There were 4 of us waiting for the doors to open. This one guy took off running - he wanted all the lights - no biggie, last thing I needed was lights. The other two women were together and asked for a flatbed, LOL they wound up with 2 and needed them. They were buying about 50 trees for a winter wonderland ball decorations. I was shopping for wrapping paper, boxes, bags, bows, stocking holders, stockings and decor items - so it was all good - we were even helping each other out since we werent looking for the same things. It was really civil for the first 15 minutes while we were the only 4 there. Also got 18 pairs of christmas socks and 2 3 packs of christmas undies - so dont forget to check those out as well. I will wear the thick fuzzy socks all year since I am anemic and freeze to death in 90 degree weather. 29 and 39 cents a pair is a killer deal. My saving were 793.42 I got a bunch of extra garland and ornaments I liked as well. Didnt need any tree, already had 8. LOL Happy shopping everyone~
  20. ok kids are up, dressed with mutiny in their eyes. I think if Target doesnt go 90% this morning my kids are going to go on strike or revolt.
  21. On my last recon visit yesterday they were bringing more stuff out so hopefully they will go 90 this morning and I will find some great stuff. Dont need much but who can resist 90% off??? LOL
