doublehsmom Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 we don't have anything that goes on our tree but growing up we always had a ribbon, star, or an angle, we alternated between the 3
mesarobins Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 A cloisonne star that I got when I was in China in 2001.
Turtle Mommy Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 On the tree in the family room it is a angel made out of a paper plate ds#1 made that is 7 yrs old. On the tree in the living room it is a silver bow.

guilliam Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 We've always used an angel but I'd like to find something new for this year. Something not so typical maybe.
sweettooth65 Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 A golden star with multi-colored lights.
Yakyma Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Alternate between a rustic looking star and a pretty fiber optic angel.
Miss Star Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Nothing My mom is super picky about how her tree is decorated and doesn't like toppers lol
rbellville Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 A Big Snowman's head with a tophat. DH hates it!!! My mom bought it, so I will always use it...
Tracy72 Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 I have an angel that the wings move and the head moves too....love it.....lol
mcapel4444 Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 We have a couple of different light up stars that we can use. I also have an angel or two. It really just depends on what I feel like at the time.
rsb7706 Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 a silver glittery star. It doesn't light up but the lights from the tree reflect off of the glitter
Gporter34 Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 On the white tree I use an angel. On the green tree I use a Santa. Neither lights up, but I put bows around each one.
hwolf6330 Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 A big old looking snowman head with a long green hat on one and on the other tree I have a rusty star.
copados1993 Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 We put up the Angel we got in Desanzano Del garda, Italy. We got it our first year we were married. It's such a pretty Angel.
Princess7915 Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 We have a grapevine gold star it has a little glitter on it and I put some of the lights up through the bottom so it is lit but it doesn't really light. We've had it for a few years. It's okay but I would kind of like something new. Not really an angel person and so many of the stars are kind of tacky.
vsa3janes Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 A stuffed fabric snowman angel. He is off white with gold wings and a halo. I got him at Hallmark after Christmas about 4 years ago.
coleman4905 Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 I have an angel thats stays lit,..very pretty
chilimak Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 We have a beautiful angel in a pretty red dress. She is holding 2 tiny candles and lights up. It can be always lit, or blinking. I like it blinking, but sometimes it ends up always lit. We have had her for years. I will miss her if she ever stops working. Our first Christmas together dh and I were somewhat poor and we put a cheap bow on top of our tree. It was rather ugly, but at the same time, cute. Although we never use that bow anymore, we still keep it in with all our Christmas decorations and see it every year and remember our very first Christmas together. I plan on keeping it always. Elena
