  1. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!
  2. I never checked Amazons sales. I am going to have to keep en eye on them this year.
  3. 5 years ago (maybe longer) Walmart had a trampoline and net for $200 (I think). We bought it and my kids used it every day until the springs finally started to fall off (3 or 4 years). We bought another trampoline 2 years ago and it is still used at least 3 times a week.
  4. Best- I got my gift early this year. Its 4 round trip tickets to Alaska for me and the kids. I get to spend Christmas with my sister. We haven't spent Christmas together for 11 years (she is military). Worst- pants from DH that were WAY too big.
  5. I don't collect anything. I just have a lot of decorations.
  6. I am a bad cook, I am looking for the frozen pie. I want one so bad. :)
  7. We normally put them up the first week of Dec. but this year I am doing it early.
  8. The best gift I have ever seen was (how do I put it nicely) an adult toy. My MIL hosted a party for her friends from high school and one was a total snob. So the next year a group of girls got together and all bought these and made sure the snob ended up with one in the end (no pun intended).
  9. I don't drink coffee so I have never tried it. I can't wait until stores start stocking pumpkin pie again. Two weeks I wanted to bake one and no one had it (I tried 3 different stores).
  10. The decorations. Everything looks so pretty. I also love the smell of the pine tree and watching my kids open their gifts.
  11. My mom used to have an ENTIRE Chipmunks Christmas Record. She would play it every year while we decorated our tree until I finally told her they gave me a headache.
  12. Thanx for the links. We are traveling for the first time this Christmas and are looking for very inexpencive gifts to give (the plane tickets were a lot).
  13. Mary Did You Know and Breath Of Heaven. I love them all but those are my favs.
  14. Is it too late to join? I sent you a PM.
  15. I also spend WAY too much time wrapping. I pick paper that matches my tree (after all, I have to look at it for a month) and each kid/ family gets there own paper. This way I just have to look at the wrapping paper to know who the present is for. Then I like to go all out with the ribbons and bows, often making my own bows. I think I also need therapy.
  16. I use pretty wrapping paper and wrap as soon as I get home. Then I put them back into the bag it came from until we get the tree set up.
  17. We put a fiber optic Angel on top.
  18. We get our tree the second tuesday of Dec (DH works weekends and I worked monday). We always recut it when we got home and water it everyday.
  19. We put WAY too many lights on our tree. We wrap the middle (close to the trunk) with white and around the edges with blue. All our decorations are blue and white too. It takes a long time but looks really cool.
  20. A few years ago we got the kids a trampoline from Santa. Christmas Eve came around and it was raining. DH and BIL were in the cold rain for 5 hours. Christmas morning came around and we realized they set it up wrong.
  21. Thanx for this story.... I just spit Pepsi on the monitor and have to clean it now.
  22. My sister lives near North Pole Alaska. A few years ago she got us letters from santa with the address of Santa's Workshop and took pictures of it. In march of this year the neighbors son told my kids sants didn't exist. I pulled out the letters and pictures and convinced the other kid that Santa really did exist. This year we are going to my sisters house for Christmas and we will be going into North Pole and looking around. I am really excited.
  23. I do not know when I stopped believing but my kids still do. They are 8, 7 and 2. This year we will be going to North Pole Alaska for Christmas and they will be going to Santas Workshop to meet the "real" Santa. Its going to be a blast.
  24. Walmart.com done gone and pi$$ed me off. I stayed up until 2am (5am ET). Got everything I wanted in my cart and thats when it all went to poop. I ended up going and standing in line for 2hrs. I am at the in-laws and had no idea the layout of this store. I also have no clue how I am going to get this stuff home. Now it's 6:45am, my cart is empty and they are sold out of half the stuff I wanted to get. I was still hoping to get some of the games since I couldn't find them at this walmart. Oh well. At least I got all the IDogs I wanted. Walmart.com would only let me put 1 in my cart and I needed to get 6.
  25. YAY!!!! I am glad you got this solved. Now what I am courious about is what was the deal on the ipods and what store had the awsome price?
