kstategrad
My SIL is getting married again next spring. Her fiance has an 8 year old son from another relationship. I have met this boy only one time, but just found out that they are all coming to town for Christmas. My own son is 9, and I think that they probably have many of the same interests, but the problem is that the gifts I bought for my son are well more than what I want to spend for this little boy I barely know. So....what kinds of cool gifts can I get for under $20? Thanks for any and all help.

sheli
Lego Bionicles are fun and age appropriate. My son started playing with them at 7 and still loves them at 12. Prices from $5 to $20 (with a few sets into the $80 range)

Stephie25
You can get fantastic stuff for kids at Michaels. The have tons of project stuff for girls and boys. (My son LOVES the kids isle). Anyhow if you have one of the 40% coupons you can save money as well. We usually purchase a lot of gifts for kids in the extended family this way.
