shopshop Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 what store is the best to shop for clothes? jcpenney? kohls? macys? what has the most markdown?
bayhaysay Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I'd say probably old navy also. I plan on going there later in the day.
Turtle Mommy Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 My SIL got great deals at Old Navy last year. I am going to make that one of my BF stops for sure!!
colelane2001 Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I always get good deals at old navy. I just have to travel 45 minutes to get there. In our actual mall though Express always has out there $7 - $20 clearance bin. I haven't seen to much from JC Penny's this year on clothing.
Marcster Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I'll just add that TJ Maxx, Ross Stores, and Marshall's do NOTHING for Black Friday besides having extended hours. They don't offer any sort of incentive. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Hmmm/dontknow.gif
RchristinaH Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I found that the outlets really have suprisingly great deals! So I love to hit the Old Navy & GAP outlet.
arrowpolisher Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I wish I knew where a Kohl's was around here. I keep hearing they have great deals. Old Navy is just too far away, but I hear they have grat tights. If they were on sale for a great price I might be tempted
Princess7915 Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 I love Kohls. Partially because of the clothes, but also they have good deals on a lot of other stuff too. I also do well at Penny's. I wait to do winter clothes shopping till BF and know I'll get good deals. Two years ago at Penny's I got a nice cashmere sweater for $25. It was a major deal and still my favorite sweater!!!
powell416 Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Jumping on the Old Navy bandwagon!! GREAT deals on BF, not bad the rest of the year either!
miller205 Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Last year I was in our TJ Maxx on BF weekend and they were having an additional 50% off clearance. At least it is something. Does anyone know if Kohl's will price adjust? I just bought some things yesterday and want a few more things but if they are cheaper on BF I have no problem stopping and asking for a price adjust.
parteejen Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 I'd have to say Kohls...but not just as a BF store...they have good sales on their clothes all year.
shopshop Posted November 12, 2006 Author Posted November 12, 2006 wow..a lot of people voted for old navy! i never really knew...what exactly do they do? how low are the prices? do they have " doorbusters ? "
Christina2699 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 KOHLS WILL price adjust, but only up to 10 days
makirley Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 When Kohl's has a GOOD sale, you can't beat them!!
nickied527 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 wow..a lot of people voted for old navy! i never really knew...what exactly do they do? how low are the prices? do they have " doorbusters ? "I want to know too! Never heard of Old Navy being a good one!?
theboyzmom Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Old Navy does have door busters! Last year I got a 2 piece 'jump suit'? for $20 (normally each piece $17.99), rolled gift blankets $5, clearance prices are AWESOME and they also do 'lucky in line'...whoever is in line and has a package of tissues in their purse/pocket gets a discount card...whose buying 8 items, get discount card, etc we are getting a Kohl's here next year...looking forward to that since I've seen so many people mention that one
aggielisa Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Old Navy is where I got the best deal on clothes last year. I love the line games they play too. It makes the wait easier to deal with.
