  1. I love unloading my car full of goodies...and finding various places in my house to hide them from my son.
  2. I had a few people come up to me in Walmart, too!
  3. I have mine on, and I'm ready to SHOP! :) Love the shirt...so glad that I won one this year.
  4. Photo #1- Unfortunately, this year the carts are boycotting the abuse they endure on Black Friday. Please be prepared to use trash cans instead… Photo #2 – “Yes, sir. You heard me correctly. Please deliver the pizza to the Wal-Mart, south side of the building. I will be wearing a green blanket. No, sit, this is not a prank…” Photo #3 – Please don’t hurt me…
  5. Who has the best deals? Surf Gottadeal to find out! The ads leak here first!
  6. "The Long Walk" by Richard Bachman (Steven King)
  7. Every digital camera I have owned seems to drain batteries. I ended up using llithium batteries because they lasted a LOT longer, and because of that were more cost effective. I have a sony alpha now, rechargable battery...don't have to deal with disposable batteries anymore.
  8. I had the JVC camcorder from last year's BF at walmart. It was TERRIBLE. About two weeks after Christmas, I called the store, and they exchanged the JVC for a better Sony. I had to pay the difference, but it was well worth it.
  9. I had no problems price adjusting today. Walked right up to the counter (no line), and walked away with my cash in under a minute. Great service!
  10. I was in the check out line BY 5:00am and I didn't get out of the store intil 6:15. It was CRAZY there.
  11. ok, I have NEVER seen Walmart this busy...EVER! Me and my shopping buddies arrived at around 4:00, and everyone in the store was already going through the BF items. I started at the clothing, since I figured we couldn't get to other items until 5:00. Well, I was wrong! There were so many people in the store that they were just tearing open the black packages for the blitz items and takeing what they wanted. I got everything that I needed in my cart by 5:00 am, but I stood in line for over an hour.At about 6:15 we all got out of there and headed over to Menards, which was packed, also (since it opened at 6:00). We had two people who had waited in line and were already shopping for us, and those of us who had just arrived grabbed a rolling storage box to use as a cart and started loading up. The cashiers here were MUCH faster (even though it took us a bit longer to shop). After we left there, we headed to Target to grab a few things and I needed to have a price adjustment done (right up to the counter and got my cash back in less than a minute...great service there!) Just want to say thank goodness for cell phones, because without them I don't know if me and my group would have ever found each other at any of the stores! I did end up with everything that I needed (after waking up at 2:00am and ordering a portable DVD player from walmart.com). It was still a great year...and a CRAZY year. Can't wait for next year...
  12. We showed up at Kmart at around 6:00...and there was only one person sitting there waiting (with a chair and a book...). He stated that he overestimated the popularity that day, so I wonder how long he was there! Luckily, our Kmart did the tickets, so I was able to get the Blu Ray player that I went for. They came out twice handing out tickets...and STILL had left overs. I got everything on my list, so I'm a happy camper!
  13. Our super walmart has all of the big ticket items wrapped in black plastic, along with many of the other blitz items. We are not allowed to even TOUCH the toys (which aren't wrapped in plastic) or else there will be an associate yelling. We were allowed to put the clothing items in our cart as soon as they brought them out, but nothing else. Each section had many associates standing watch!
  14. Just some helpful advice. At the walmart where I go to on BF (and I assume the rest do this also) even the PJs are a special item and are not out on the floor until that morning. They have special PJs, jeans, coats, toys, and even the movies are different from the ones on the floor. I personally wouldn't take the chance of missing out on the real blitz prices to go look for hidden items that would ring up the original price. I don't live in an urban area, though, and we always have tons of the clothing and toys items left over.
  15. The problem is, usually the blitz items are different from those that are out on the floor...so they are sitting in back wrapped up in black plastic, which would make it hard to go in early and stash them.
  16. They have their ad posted on their website now...
  17. I'm happy I saved this ad to my computer before the link went down...
  18. That's the last ad I needed to finish up my list...thanks!
  19. Our store has a big sign out front that says they will open at 7:00am on Thanksgiving
  20. all I'm waiting for now is Menards...

    Menards

This is the only ad that I'm still waiting for. GRRRRRRRRRRRR...I hope someone posts it soon
  22. Our walmart had everything left in stock last year...still had the TVs for a couple weeks AFTER BF. Walmart is never my FIRST stop anymore...

    Menards

Someone out there has to have their hands on this ad...I need to see it...now... :)
  24. If this is the ad, I will be waiting in line bright and early as there are several things that I want to get for gifts...and maybe a couple for myself... :)
  25. up at 4:00am, in line at Menards at 5:00am. What a madhouse!! By the time the doors opened, the line was backup up clear pass the end of the parking lot (I was within the first 20 people in line...waited an hour in 15 degree weather, lost feeling in my toes). At 5:50 all of us at the front of the line started blockading the doors so the line-jumpers couldn't get in (doubt it worked, but I would have been quite mad if I were one of those people standing 1/4 of a mile away in LINE). I got everything I needed there (employees were VERY helpful...everyone knew where everything was). Left there and went right next door to Home Depot...what a ghosttown!! There was NO parking left at Menards, and front row parking at Home Depot. Got what I needed and left. Went to Target next. They didn't have what I needed, so I hopped over to Wal-Mart (GHOSTTOWN!!), price-matched what I wanted at Target (although they had the toys that I needed on the TOP shelves over AUTOMOTIVE). In and out of there fairly quickly. Overall, a pretty good day!
