f1rstclass Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I think that these are so fun! Will Target be doing these again this year and if so when do they start allowing people to sign up?
duckbrain Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I think that these are so fun! Will Target be doing these again this year and if so when do they start allowing people to sign up?I haven't heard of this? :gdmornincoffee:Is it only a BF thing? Around what time?
rogue1230 Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT???? they do wake up calls???? tooo funny
Christy Garner Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 i REMEMBER THIS FROM LAST YEAR BUT I NEVER SIGNED UP. TOO FUNNY - DON'T KNOW IF I WILL BE HERE FOR A WAKE UP CALL IF I LEAVE AROUND MIDNIGHT FOR THE MIDNIGHT DEALS.
Gator Pam Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 This is not working on my computer at home, but that may be becasue I'm on 56K dial-up access. Target Wake Up Call But, the Target celebrity recorded wake up calls are a lot of fun every year!
elena_398 Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Loved the idea last year, but I didn't need it. I haven't slept the night before BF in over 8 years. I just stay up all night as Im usually inline by midnight. My husband always tries to get me to go to sleep, but Im too wired. lol
love2beurwifey Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I doubt I will use it I never have a problem with getting up on Black Friday.
starshine Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I'm up and gone long before they start the wake up calls. I could have them call my DH and DS! LOL
Melissa Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I remember those from last year, but I didn't need one!
syberselections Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 My husband loved the call from the model, forgot who the gal was.
Kay1996 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 This is alot of fun. The first year that they had it we had Darth Vader call that was a kick
bugsette Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 those were cool didn't they do it for BF and then Saturday too.
Novac Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I never "get up" on Black Friday. I stay up from Thanksgiving, and once I go to bed in the evening of BF, I'm down for the night.
Cecilliadb Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Well I wont be needing this but I think it's a really neat and creative idea.
Uberfemme Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Last year I did either Darth Vadar or Kermit the Frog. I got one call to tell me to go to bed and another to wake me up.
rogue1230 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I checked the site and it wasn't there... maybe they will put it up later?
ShopQueen Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 I used the wakeup call last year and its was great. Although, I can't remember which one I used!
ChrisKsAngel Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Loved the idea last year, but I didn't need it. I haven't slept the night before BF in over 8 years. I just stay up all night as Im usually inline by midnight. My husband always tries to get me to go to sleep, but Im too wired. lollol.. Me too! I also think that I was gone before the calls started last year!
Novac Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 No matter. Just arrange for a Target wake-up call to that neighbor who plays his music so loud until 3 am
neliak98 Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 I signed up for one last year...they were super cute...although by the time it came I was long gone and it just woke up the rest of the family;)
zoemariesmamma Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 my mom and I were just talking about this!! I got kermit the frog! we were already up but it was cute anyway.
VaderGCP Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 These are fun. I've chosen one for the past two years, they've done it twice I believe. The only problem is it seems they get backtracked with so many calls that you might get yours way late. I remember getting my call almost an hour and a half after the time I had chosen. I did it for kicks though, I was already in the line long before the call.
parteejen Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 I signed up last year...but I had left before I got the call. It's hard for me to get any sleep the night before BF. When I'm awake...it's hard for me to just sit around at home, so I leave early! My answering machine got the call, though...it was cute. Don't remember what celebrity I had signed up for, though.
sleepyshopper Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Oh my that is to funny....I want a wake up call this year.
cotinkandy1 Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I can't get it to work on my computer:( But I heard its neat from my sis!!! I want one.
rogue1230 Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I can't get it to work on my computer:( But I heard its neat from my sis!!! I want one.So you can see it on the site then? Maybe they didn't have it up when I went and not active when you went???
