2 years ago well i guess its been 3 my husband and i are best friends which are a couple and my mother in law were in walmart the 1st shoppers there it was like 3 am. they had the whole front roped off. So u could go to food but not down the center isles to any of the bf items. we were waiting with our baskets for a few hours right in front of the kodak easy share cameras with charging docks that were 198 and this lady behind us and her father talked to us for over an hour they were so nice . As soon as they cut the ribbon this lady shoved her cart into the back of my friend and my mia. She put 3 cameras in her cart and there were several hundred probably so no rush and as she made her way down the center isle she just started punching other women in the face. I was shocked we pointed her out to a security guard and then continued shopping. But i couldnt believe what i saw and i felt so sorry for some of these women that she was just punching in the face.

Never really thought about it. I don't see myself fighting with anyone over a THING. I probably would just let them have it if they took it out of my cart. If they physically attacked me, I don't know what I would do, probably stand there looking at them in shock:)

Ya know, I have never met anyone like that on BF. I have had people hold my place in line for me while I run and get something( of course that year I was 8 mos. preg. and they probably took pity on me), but never had people fighting over stuff.

the only people that came close to being like that were the ones who arrived at the last minute in wal mart, came by the area as we had to tell them the line for the laptops was "way back there" but by then those of us at the front of the line had already fenced the area off using shopping carts and made sure the line spiraled through the back of the department and it was the main isle that was blocked off.

I'm a strategic planning type.. making sure to minimize fuss... this is one of the reasons we had a nice line and the clerk handed out numbered pieces of paper to us in advance... but if necessary, I'll gladly throw a punch to defend what's already in my cart, but I respect other's rights all the same.

Nobody is going to try with my size and stature, but I would put up a reasonable amount of resistance for certain.

But actual fist-fighting? C'mon. No way. I've had a few cases of stepping close in on a person or two though that decided my cart was a sales rack and asking them to put it back.

Generally they didn't even realize what they had done, and put it back :)

if my children are with me. I would let them person have it and then press charges on them for attacking me. If my children was NOT with me ( and there was not children around) they would have a fight

But It dont matter because i will not take my children to BF with me. its way to dangrous!

I've got one for ya. Now this about 30 years ago. Shopko had these Playdoh fuzzy pumper things for $4. I think the regular price was like $20.Mom had to get one for my sister. I was just a 9 year old kid watching my mom and this pack of crazy women going after them. My mom grabbed a box and it fell to the floor, she bent over to pick it up and a lady actually stood on my moms back to reach the boxes. :rotflol: My mom was a big lady back then. She stood up and that lady went flying and the lady never did get the fuzzy pumper thing and the other women around the area applauded my mom. It was so damned funny.:lmao: The next day though, my moms back was killing her :(

I'm suprised the whole episode didn't turn into a :gdgirlfight3ol:

Last year someone hit me with a Cabbage Patch Baby at Wal-mart. I had been standing there helping people get the CP they wanted and finally decided it was time I needed to get out, and someone got mad at me for not getting her the exact doll she wanted and she smacked me pretty good with it. It was not accidental. We were looking right at one another when she did it. She's actually quite lucky I was more motivated to get out of the store (and shop more sales) than deal with her, because my dh is a cop and he was in the store with me. He would have gladly called up one of his buddies to write up a report.

I just didn't want to miss out on the sales. Besides, what were the chances of being able to find her after the fact?
