rogue1230
I just got an email from the Chelsea/Wrentham MA Premium outlets "Selected centers hosting Midnight Madness: where selected stores will be opening at Midnight, right after Thanksgiving ends. Additional information to be posted on center specific sites closer to the event. " There were rumors of this last year, but when I drove by them on the highway, the area was really dark and I was on the way to Walmart. Soooo.... unless I can get confirm of some serious deals I won't be stopping, but we'll see...what's a couple more hours up anyway right?
AndreaInNC
I did this last year and OMG I have never seen so many people shopping at 1am. There was a line to get into most of the smaller stores, and some stores checkout lines were like an hour long .. was it worth it ??? oh yeah .. the entire Banana Republic outlet was taken an additional 40% off everything! Yipee for me!

fairydustcrissy
Yup, hubby works at a chelsea mall...well he did, they are Simon now...but will still be doing the Midnight Madness. He said it was dead until about 3am, but then people starting pouring in. I know here, the stores has specific sales for certain hours.
leefamily23
I so wish the outlet in Niagara Falls would do this-- they didn't last year. They are a prime outlets chain. Even if the Grove City, PA one did it I'd make the trip down there and then hightail it back to Erie,PA for the big sales at the stores.
leefamily23
Just have to add the one in Grove City PA (their website) is showing opening at midnight for BF/Thanksgiving. This might be soooooo worth going to. Anyone find off the wall really great deals??? It would be 90 minutes there from my house. Then 45 minutes back to Erie by 5/6am for the other store sales. Decisions, decisions.......

Decisions, decisions.......If you planned it right, maybe you could do all your shopping in Grove City and then drive home to Erie after you were all done? That would save you from having to hurry back to Erie. I'm just suggesting it, I have no idea of the stores in your area...
AndreaInNC
Well just to let you know that not all the stores will participate. At the one by my house in Smithfield, NC, the lines were huge from 11pm until like 3am. The larger stores like Gap, Banana Republic, Geoffrey Beane, Yankee Candle, Eddie Bauer and Ralph Lauren were open .. some of the small stores were not. If you need clothes .. then it might be worth it .. but last year some stores had a wait time of 1/2 hour to one hour just to pay ... and god help you if you needed to try anything on .. I think this was the 3rd year for our outlet mall to run the midnight madness.

I'm getting up early for BF, but not early enough to want to drive THAT far!! Besides, we went there a few months ago, and except for maybe a handful of stores, we weren't really all that impressed with the prices.

carone0318
I'm by the Jackson, NJ outlets. Now if they would just have a Friends & Family coupon for the Bass Outlet I'd have a reason to go. I'm keep my eyes open. The last Friends and Family for Bass was Sept and they said that the Friends and Family for the other Van Heusen stores would be in Oct.
