  1. 1. We'll probably spend between $750 and $1,000. 2. We'll probably hit about 15 different stores over the 2 days and probably order online from about 3 or 4. 3. I think we'll probably shop online about the same as last year, but it depends on the deals. I'm a sucker for a good Amazon (or anyone elses for that matter) deal.
  2. 60" Vizio smart TV at Walmart last year for $497- about $200 less than the door buster price. Was there black friday morning and it was an unadvertised managers special- they were getting rid of the leftovers they hadn't sold the night before.
  3. Lowes has finally updated their website and now show the black friday ad- minus a couple spots they say will be revealed on Thanksgiving day.
  4. 1. Innnnncoming!!!!! 2. Ah, friends!!!! 3. Bueller, Bueller. Anyone, Bueller?
  5. Full ad now up on their website
  6. We went to the Leesburg Virginia Premium outlets (west of DC) last year when they opened at midnight. When we got near about 30 min. before they opened, we could see that all 3 major (each 3 lanes each way) roads near the outlets were bumper to bumper for as far as you could see. We took some back roads and parked behind the buildings and went shopping, but the deals weren't that good and some stores had lines just to get in. Basically a waste of time. On the way home, traffic was still backed up as far as you could see. When we went back out at 4:30 AM to go to Bestbuy, there were still lines of cars going to the outlets and we had to dodge people trying to cross the highways to get back to cars parked a mile from the outlets.
  7. Our Costco currently has several different 720P 42" plasma's for between $698 and $750. The 1080p's are a little more, but not too much.
  8. Last year I got a 37" Olivia Flatscreen TV at Target for about $550 including tax. Doorbuster price plus 10% off for opening a target card earlier in the week. Still haven't seen anything that cheep.

    too soon?

Well, I was listening to Christmas Music 2 weeks ago on the Radio. They played Christmas Music all day on July 25 in celebration of Christmas in july. So i guess it's getting to that time.
  10. To get the black friday price plus the 10% off wouldn't you have to buy it on BF? Even if they will price adjust what you paid for the BF price, I don't think they would do it for the BF price - the 10% since you will have already used your 1 day 10% off pass.
  11. We bought ours at Bed Bath and Beyond with one of the 20% off coupons that come out every week or so.
  12. CNNMoney. com has an article talking about malls opening at midnight on Thanksgiving night. Here's the link. http://money.cnn.com/2006/10/10/news/companies/blackfriday_earlyopening/index.htm?postversion=2006101016
