sky_scraper123 Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Will Lay Away Make Me Decided on My BF Choices
shaneslove Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 ok I voted NO just because I dont know their deals yet.. for me If I have to spend it out right, I might go somewhere else where I have to grab other stuff as well.. So Yes I will shop there if their deals are good , and no if someone else has more of what I want
bayhaysay Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I would never use layaway on BF anyway so no, it won't affect my BF shopping.
Gurnee Al Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 The layaway policy won't effect my decision of shopping at WM.
gingersunshine Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 i have used LAW on BF and was out of the store at about 6:30 am. and on to the next. i will still use walmart, but i will pick and choose more carefully. with the kids getting older and wanting more expensive things, soon we will not do alot of shopping there. it will be computers, tvs, etc from bestbuy and circuit city!
NeepNeep Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I don't use layaway so it will not affect my shopping.
love2beurwifey Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I do not use lay a way on black friday so it won't effect me
laffnatu Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I'll be there layaway or not as long as they are offering something that I'm after. :)
Christy Garner Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I do not use layaway on BF so that would not affect my decision. If Walmart has what I want, I will be there especially to price match.
elena_398 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I've never used Layaway on BF so it doesn't effect me.
Tracy72 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I also dont use layaway so it will not affect me any.
misshayley Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I don't use layaway so it doesn't affect me.
KBsDarling Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 i couldnt imagine using law on BF so this doesnt effect me
Spotted1 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I still shop at Walmart. It's the only place here TO shop, so I don't have much choice.
Turtle Mommy Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 It takes WAY too long to put anything on lay away on BF! I did it once and said I would never do it again!
peachysquirt21 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Years ago there be once in awhile I would use there layaway on BF but I dont no more. If I dont have the cash, the stuff goes on the credit card. LOL
amiller17 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I don't use lawaway much and not on BF especially but think of all the people who depend on the LAW. Ones who cannot afford to pay cash or who do not have credit cards. I heard WalM is doing this because they want everyone to get a walmart credit card and use it instead. Millions of people don't qualify for credit. THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST ASINE THINGS WALMART WILL EVER DO. We all should stick together and tell them that LAW is important to a lot of people and they need to keep it. I don't see how they can have any less employees and still operate. Our superstore (in OH) is lucky if there are 4 registers open at any given time. I hear people complain all the time. If they didn't PM I wouldn't be there. I hate walmart for the way they treat their employees and how they think since there #1 they can screw all.
ajburlingame Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 It will not affect by Black Friday shopping but it will affect shopping at other times of the year.
migirlfriday Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 It will not affect by Black Friday shopping but it will affect shopping at other times of the year.Same here!
Melissa Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 I don't use layaway, so it doesn't affect me. A lot of people depend on it, though. It's a shame they're doing away with it.
Kandy Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 The lines a the layaway dept are too long for me to fight through on BF..any other time I may have used it.
krstee Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Yeah, probably - but I still don't like the idea that they are doing away with it. I have used it numerous times - not just for BF. I am bummed that this great program is going away.
cherry33778 Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 I dont use layaway for BF so it doesnt affect me, but I do feel sorry for the people that do. I think Kmart will get more sales bc of this.
cactusmom Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 I dont use layaway either so it wont affect my decision to shop there or not.
holly2hottie Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 I don't use layaway so it won't affect me one way or the other.
mmm40 Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Guess I will just start socking away cash and putting it in GC's for holiday time. This stinks!
humphrey7 Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 I have used LAW on BF items in the past, especially last year for a laptop, cameras and DVD players for the kids' Christmas presents. BTW, go to the smaller stores for hot items on BF. All the stores get the same quantity regardless of size. With less competition you have a better chance of getting what you are after. Team shopping helps too. :) IF WM has good enough BF items in 2006 I will still be there but will be doing a lot of my regular Christmas shopping online. I think taking away LAW was a stupid decision made by people that are too rich to know what common people go through to provide their children with a decent Christmas or clothes for back to school. WM keeps trying to get the 'rich' people to buy more than groceries at their stores. They don't seem to understand that isn't going to happen in the label conscience society we live in. Eventually we poor folks will be the ones only buying groceries there. LOL
humphrey7 Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 oh yea, lots of online sites are offering 'bill me later' services. I don't like it because you can only send payment in by mail and can't pay online. (Unless they have changed in the last year or so.) I used it once, but guess I would again if I had too. If you can't qualify for a credit card maybe this would work.
zoemariesmamma Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 I would never use layaway on BF anyway so no, it won't affect my BF shopping.I agree..the thought of spending precious time in a layaway line makes me cringe...
all4linkae Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 I don't use layaway on BF so it won't make a difference.
