momof4plus1hubby Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 Hi, I just wanted to let you know Home Depot is filing a law suit on anybody that post there black friday ad . Seen it on another website. Just wanted to give you a heads up. Chrissy
venerdinero Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 Such a cheerful attitude. No wonder Lowe's is doing so well! On a semi serious note- am I right in thinking that the only thing they can truly prevent is the posting of an actual ad? or is it much more complicated?
motoXmom Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 mean mean buttheads on them ! LOL I think we need a smiley wiggling it's little behind at ya with 2 big rosey buttcheeks.
elena_398 Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 Like their ad was worth "hiding" till it came out! This is another reason I shop Lowes.
scrappynik Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 I just saw that on another website. Really though, I don't see what the big hoopala is all about if the "rumored" ad is floating around out there.
mugs Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 Like their ad was worth "hiding" till it came out! This is another reason I shop Lowes. It's worth hiding to them - because if you got the ad ahead of time, you could go to the store and see that they're just advertising their regular prices. :)
elena_398 Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 I used to work there and 9 out of 10 times they Do Not have "sales". Its every day low prices. Once in a while you will find a managers sale, but thats stuff that hasn't sold well. Especially right before christmas as inventory is the last week of december and they want to clear out.
shanni Posted November 19, 2004 Posted November 19, 2004 I was mentioned in an email to another website from homedepot, they were not very happy...
TammyDCody Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 After looking at the "rumors" they might as well open at regular time. No one will be there early!
geekgirldany Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 I don't like Home Depot at all. I've found Lowes to be more helpful and they will negoiate on prices.
Metallica_Band Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 I think we need a smiley wiggling it's little behind at ya with 2 big rosey buttcheeks.LOL!!! alimfp Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 Well they lost my business. It was a tight race between them and Lowes for a long time (for me anyway) and Lowes just won.
MarkRaby Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 It's worth hiding to them - because if you got the ad ahead of time, you could go to the store and see that they're just advertising their regular prices. :)Genius post! --Mark--
warlock110 Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 i can see their ads in my vision already, "BF special, you can get a hammer for 1 dollar, limit 2 per store", fine print "plz line up in front of our store instead of those electronic stores with their big sale, and remember the hammers are limited 2 per store" hahahaha
motoXmom Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 LOL!!!
