What he has decided to do is he will get the new one and he will give his employee the old one :) I told him that is what I would do. You know alot of schools are giving kids laptops when they hit highschool.

must have been regional. I've found a few deals on staples one is a Lenvo (?sp) but it has a celeron processor. I'll show him what you guys have said and see what he wants to do. He is buying it for a employee to use.

Blah! I knew I should have looked here first. I just bought the Hanns-G 19" Wide at Office Depot. They didn't have it at the store so I bought it online. Came to $196 after tax.

geez we were in big lots one time and this guy got pissed because me and my mom would not get out of his way in a aisle quick enough. The laws in Georgia say that a moped or scooter that goes over 40mph is considered a motorcycle. So you have to get a motorcycle license. I got one at a local rent to own place for $1200. It is a geely import from japan. I believe it was Aarons rent to own where I got it. Cute retro scooter. Gas model. Its just sitting though in the garage now because I never did get my motorcycle license. I am going to sell it at a yard sale soon. Just check your DMV website for california and see the regulations on it. The scooter webpage that Bio posted might have some info on it since they are in California.

Ahh okay I got ya. It looks like they cover a good bit of the area we would be in. I really need to call and ask a question. The national team share plan states 400 minutes. I assume cellular. But then another plan says free incoming minutes and they 600, 800 minutes. I'm a little confused at the plans.

Nextel of course has been acquired by sprint. Changed their website I noticed today. Anyways my contract is up with Verizon in October. Nextel is currently having a deal with buy one get on the i265 phone. PHone is $199.99 - $150 - $25. Ends up being $50 for both phones. Do you guys think this is a good deal. I know they have some free ones sometimes but they didn't appear to have the speakerphone. The monthly charge would be $60 a month. I am doing a National team share plan at $39 with a addon of $19. One phone is for me the other is for my mom. She wants it in case of emergency on the cell phone side but wants to use the direct connect with me. This looks like the best deal. Also do you think it would be better to buy it at the store or online? Online I can avoid the $70 connection charge they would do if I bought it at the store.

Yeah I have wifi and its built into the laptop :) I connected right up to the network and was on the internet from the den or my bedroom. Got a excellent connection. The screen being so wide does make it easier to actually do work on a laptop. I had trouble before. The big test for it will be during the tax season. I will see then if I can sit in the den and do tax returns or bookkeeping. Just to add that I priced several other laptops after I purchased this one. To get anything close to this price I would have to get one with a celeron processor or maybe sempron. Wasn't as much ram, screen size, or a good graphics card. Something comparable is specs were as much as $1,000.00 so this was a great great deal. I have a laptop case but I am not sure if it will fit or not. Maybe to wide. Also what do you do about "hot leg" :)

I just got the regular screen. Which is still amazing to me. The Screen itself is 15" I believe. Quite a difference between it and the 12" IBM Thinkpad 600. When I am on battery the screen does dim. I dont' like that very much. I don't know how I got it so quick. I kept on checking through the weekend about the shipping status. Saturday it said it had shipped. Sunday it said it had left Tennessee. I didn't even know they have a distribution center there. Then I got it Tuesday right on the dot. I was amazed to get it so soon :) But I am enjoying it.

Wow I did get a good deal I can't get the 6000 to configure to around $650 either. I wonder if you keep check on it and maybe tomorrow it will. I got my 6000 yesterday and its great! I'm so happy I bought it. The graphics and screen are really clear. Loads up fast. DVDs play great. I'm really excited :)

Well she just called me back again to change her mind. Wants to wait on a lattitude. I told her I didn't think there were many coupons for them ususally.

I recommended the 700m because she is a missionary that travels alot. She wanted something that would be able to handle alot of work going on. Mostly Quickbooks, Act!, and office. She said she bought a 1200 lattitude and it was very slow.

I'm going to tell my customer about this one tomorrow afternoon. She better just jump on this and get it if she wants one at this good of a price. I'm going with the config on the main page and adding a 2 year warranty.

Well it looks like the coupon has expired. I just had to redo the config and it won't accept the coupon now. They have added a $300 rebate coupon now. I might just downgrade it some. Is there any coupons with the Lattitudes. She said she likes them because they are lighter?? Thanks guys for checking it out. What I configured on Dell for the 700m is $1575 - $600 = $1063. including tax and shipping. I'm just wondering if it would be better to lower the config. I think around $800 to $900 is the most she is wanting to pay. Ross is that the 8 cell or 4 cell battery?

Do you expect any of the $750 off $1499 coupons to be back. I've got a customer that is wanting to buy one of the 700m. Also how long do the batteries ususally last? She will probably just go with the $600 off if it will be awhile on the $750
