After looking at the "rumors" they might as well open at regular time. No one will be there early!

Ok, my mission was to take list to TRU and snoop around. I headed for the "boy" toys since my son is 10. With list in hand, I found the Matchbox Ice Mountain....no price on shelve...took to scanner reg price is $39.99 so 50% off should be $19.99....Hot Wheels 20 pack cars reg $19.99 so 50% off s/b $9.99...Easy Bake Oven & Snack set reg $19.99 so s/b $9.99.....and last year I went to get two games they had for $4.97 by the time we got in and found where they had them they were all gone. So, I looked in the place they had they last year and sure enough the price tags of $4.97 are in front of the shelves....but the spaces are empty (just waiting for Thanksgiving I am sure). This recon stuff is almost as fun as the real thing......I have a feeling the TRU list is pretty good....I noticed alot of things on the list not on the shelves but there was empty space where they will probably go....Happy Hunting.....Gobble, Gobble.

Just in case this is true and they are using "%" to try to keep price matching down, I just fired off a letter to TRU to let them know what a BAD BAD marketing idea that was. I mean most of us know that when stores have "%" sales they have normally marked the prices up anyway. I for one, won't stand in line for a "maybe it's a good deal". I suggested they give everyone 15% off entire purchase coupons from 6 to 11. Then I'd for sure go there instead of WM.

Well, ya'll can put this in the "what it is worth department". I have been BF'ing (that sounds bad) for 18 years. Over the years I have noticed some little things like where WM places the things they are going to have on sale and how many more of that item they have on the shevles(or above). I went to scope out my WM tonight looking especially for 20" TV mentioned. They have lots of above stacked Symphonic 20" flat screen but not the combo and there regular price on it is $94.64. I don't think I have alot of faith in this first ad, actually, I am hoping it is wrong and alot more "good" stuff will be on it.

I called WM Corp offices this AM just to make sure they would PM BF ads. Lee said they would. So, I am off to WM (our 24 hour store) about 3am and shop for all comp ads and then at 6am hit the WM deals. I know I'll be able to bypass TRU. BOY I CAN HARDLY WAIT
