lindabacker Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Do they even have a BF sale worth going to?
Kay1996 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Not that I know of. I work Next to the Disney store and they never have advertised sales, just clearence items.
Vickis3js Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Last year they had a lot of things on sale. Nothing really advertised though. I know I got dolls for my DD for $9.99 and the next day they were $20. I know I will be making a stop there later in the morning!
mrodgers169 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I've been there the last 2 yrs and for their early bird specials it was always 25% off anything in the store. THE LINES there are crazy so I just gave up on it since they only have 3 registers at most!
jellybean051901 Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 The Disney stores by me don't have BF sales specifically. Just their normal sale stuff...not really worth fighting the crowd for IMO
lar0713 Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Last year on BF I got the new Cinderella DVD for Free with a (I think) a $50.00 purchase and everything in the store was take an additional 25% off. I love getting stuff in there on BF to put in "Toys for Tots".
Care Bear Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 I've never been to the Disney Store on Black Friday but if they have some good deals, I might stop by their to pick up some things. I love Disney so I'd probably end up buying everything I see, lol!
tazolover Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 I've been to our mall on the past 2 BFs and seen the deals at the Disney Store. Honestly, I haven't seen anything that I had to have or couldn't get with a coupon online. Since the B&M stores and the OL site are owned by different people, I often find better deals online than I do instore.
peggbt Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I worked for too long at the Disney catalog before they sold it to some Utah outfit who shipped the jobs to India. They sold the Disney stores to The Children's Place in 2004. When they did that, they started having BF deals. The ads are hard to come by, so you have to show up at their store and see what they've got. Usually some stocking stuffers are worth the effort.
krissy72 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Taken from another site- tems for BF listed on a flyer handed out yesterday when I went to the Disney Store. The ad says Special One Day Only Prices, but does not give the price :: Lightning McQueen RC Vehicle The Little Mermaid RC Vehicle Disney Princess Deluxe Tea Cart Pirates of the Carribean RC Black Pearl Ship Disney Princess Magical Castle Disney Winter White Plush The Little Mermaid My Size Talking Ariel Doll The Incredibles Infrared RC Vehicle Mystic Force Red Legion Power Ranger Action Figure Disney Princess Magical Talking Vanity ALSO - Take an ADDITIONAL 20% Off the ENTIRE STORE until 10:00 AM (restrictions apply)
tazolover Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Do you know if you have to have the flyer in order to get the 20% off on BF before 10 am? Thanks!
stacya Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Last year, you didn't need any flyer for the extra off...it just ran until 10, or whenever. I bought some kids jammies and little stuff there. Line was crazy, but totally worth it for what I was buying. They recently renovated the DS where I'll be, and I don't really like it--seems like they have less stuff now, so I don't know that I'll be heading there.
master doggy Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Just wanted to chime in. I live in the LA area and I went to the Disney store today. They said they will open at 4am.
Vickis3js Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 I have the flyer and its not needed. Mine says will open at 5 am. HTH Vicki
EmConMom Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Where do you get your hands on that flyer? Can anyone that has one scan it?
NICKYSMOM1 Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 If anyone has it plese scan it! ALSO a quick headsup,I went there on the day before thanksgiving last year and got all the deals.Except the extra percent but it was worth it to me becasuse I couldnt go on friday.
jediliz Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 My mall closed the Disney Store. I don't know why. This was a few years ago. Closest one is an hour away. Sounds like they will have a few good deals.
lalam Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 After Black Friday, the Disney Store near me had Buy 2 Toys Get 1 Free, plus I had a 15% off coupon. I was able to grab a lot of great things. I don't remember when exactly it was though. Does anyone else remember this near them?
goofyforsales Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 I was told that the actual sale prices would be up on either Tuesday or Wednesday before BF and then the big thing is the additional 20% off you purchase until 10 am Friday. Might be worth to make a short trip to scope it out and see if it is worth your time or not. I know they seemed to have some different things this year and not just the same old stuff you can already buy at Walmart, Target or Toys R Us already (like it used to be).
xbatman Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 On another discussion board, someone was told by a CM that they'd be giving out Mickey ears (at 10:00 am?). Anyone else heard this or know anything else about it?
leasey Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 yesterday my store gave me the flyer (nothing exciting on it) And told me that they sent out a BF flyer with everything on sale to their mailing list? I was hoping to find someone on here that got it. They had a good sale yesterday too.
myrtle Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 My disney store will be open Thanksgiving Day w/ 20% off the entire store. Hours are 10-5 that day. On BF they have 20% off until 10 am plus the specials listed above.
NICKYSMOM1 Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 the only thing i received in the mail was a booklet with a 20 percent off coupon.
xbatman Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 I received a 20% off coupon too. It was from the Disney Rewards Visa card.
KJF Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Does anyone know if you can use the 20% off coupon from the mail on top of the store's 20% off? If so, that might make it worth going. If not, I may as well go on Wed & just use the coupon & avoid the hassle of the crowd on Fri.
peggbt Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Do we have a second on those Mickey ears? That would get me to the dreaded mall.
