  1. So I can't spell. you knew what I meant, right?
  2. Just wanted to post a small PSA and make sure everyone is aware of how amazon does their discount on the lightning deals so you can avoid being overcharged and having an agrevating shopping experience like I had today. When you check out when you are on the payment screen there is a line item with a radio button that says "Use your $XX.XX gift card or promotional balance". Make sure you leave this box checked! If you uncheck it the discount goes away and you will be charged more. I inadvertently thought it was trying to charge part of my order to a saved gift card and unchecked it. I was charged more, but in my haste to complete the transaction went ahead with it figuring I could get customer service to fix it. Big mistake since it was a nightmare to get fixed. Customer service did eventually refund the difference in price to me, but not until I pretty much told the phone rep that either he helps me or get a supervisor. I had a screen print of the time purchase was done, how much the deal was, how much time was left and the percentage still available. I think because I had that and was able to provide enough detail to confirm I was eligible for the deal is truly the only reason I was finally refunded the difference.
  3. I'm pretty sure it is with the headphones and the deal was already active.
  4. This is going to be on the Cyber Monday deal for $279.99. Not a bad deal if the headphones are good. Haven't read up about them, so I can't say if they are supposed to be good or not, but I guess anything is better than the regular ones that come with the ipods.
  5. If you are okay with a black DSi and the regular size (not the XL) Radio Shack has it on a in store clearance and it is about $75. The website has the option of putting your location in to see if your local store has them. Also because it is an in store I have heard of people having luck price matching at Walmart.
  6. I didn't see anything worth fighting crowds for. I wonder if they are counting on this "price match after the sale " thing to be the big draw and they aren't going to have much more this year. Also, it seems like they are getting a lot less stock this year and with layaway, it may be hard to get the popular items at a good price. At least an advertised good price.
  7. Was that coupon in the book that you picked up at the store? I know they had one online earlier in the week, but when I went to print it today, so I could get my DH go get the mixes and oven today, it was missing. The mixes were like $4 or $5 each so that was a good deal with the oven being on sale for $19.99.
  8. There is a nonworking link on the Target website that says for the toy book and a holiday catalog. Found that when I was reading another thread that linked to the coupons to print out from the Target site. Hopefully it will be in tomorrows paper.
  9. I can't remember if they had these available for online use last year, but these are to print to take to the store from what it looks like. There is a link for the Toy Catalog on the left, but it isn't working yet. Maybe it will be in the paper tomorrow. Since the prices/coupons are only good until 11/26, I'm thinking (hoping) tomorrow would be the day.
  10. This is going to sound strange, but...YEAH!!! I was just sitting here reading about everyone getting the Method soup and stuff so cheap and kicking myself that I didn't go to Target yesterday or today. I wonder when it is going to go to 75%? Planning on making a trip in either tomorrow or Wednesday, so maybe I will get lucky.
  11. Make sure you scan them first, but the Christmas book I was interested in was not on clearance at my store. Nor were the Christmas movies I scanned. I was so dissapointed too, as I know my daughter would have loved the book and I refuse to pay full price for books period and definetly not a holiday book after the holiday is over.
  12. If you pull the ad up on the official site, and print it out, you should still be able to price match. I could be wrong, but I don't think the "ad" has to be the glossy one from the newspaper. Plus, with the awful deals Walmart is having they will probably want all of the sales they can get.
  13. Are you sure you would have to pay for the cord from the manufacturer? The reason I ask is I purchased a portable CD player on an open box buy like this from Targer, called the company (I think it was Phillips) and told them I purchased one of their items, but it did not have a cord and they sent it to me for free, no questions asked. I didn't even have to pay for the shipping.
  14. I was told that the actual sale prices would be up on either Tuesday or Wednesday before BF and then the big thing is the additional 20% off you purchase until 10 am Friday. Might be worth to make a short trip to scope it out and see if it is worth your time or not. I know they seemed to have some different things this year and not just the same old stuff you can already buy at Walmart, Target or Toys R Us already (like it used to be).
  15. Found two Compass booster seats at my local store yesterday. At first I didn't see a price sticker on either one, so I tried to scan them. The box I choose to scan had about 6 different bar codes and each one came up item not found. I did find a price sticker on the box then and it said $22.xx (I think 22.98) marked down from either 89.99 or 69.99. This was a really good deal, and I was tempted, but I was in a huge hurry and didn't have the time to hassle with the item not being found in the computer. Besides, I really didn't need a new booster seat and I figured let someone else have an assume deal. I remember seeing these on the regular shelf a week or two ago when I was looking to see if they had any of the other booster seats some else posted about finding such a good deal on. At that time, I do not remember any of the them even being marked down. Might be worth a look, not sure if they are good seats or not.
