Brad Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 If Walmart repeats their schedule from last year (and plans on doing 3 BF sales again), tonight at midnight EDT we'll get the first 2 ads. 8
Brad Posted October 16, 2022 Author Posted October 16, 2022 Noticed they added a bunch of items to this page (previously there was just one TV on the page): https://www.walmart.com/shop/deals/black-friday Which makes sense because last year when they posted the first 2 ads they also started a "deals for days" sale which this page looks like it could be. 3
cllehto Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 I like seeing their ads. They usually have some really good deals. I have noticed that some of the deals they have on Black Friday show up on the deal for days site...and some of the deals on the deals for days sell out very quickly and are similar in discount as the Black Friday items. It makes the sales season spread out longer.
mgreen Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 I hope they have "new" stuff not the same stuff they have on sale every year. 3
Kash Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 I wish someone would do some giveaways or true early bird in store only sale. 6
Brad Posted October 17, 2022 Author Posted October 17, 2022 maybe Walmart is going back to one big sale instead of 3? either way i'm going to bed lol 2
ytmomof4 Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 Woke up to check and nothing. Boo Walmart hopefully soon
Bopeep Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 maybe Walmart is going back to one big sale instead of 3? either way i'm going to bed lolThat would be awesome (in my opinion) 1
Rockfordmom Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 I was so excited that there may finally be an ad... 1
lilwywy Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 I was excited too... oh well hopefully we will get a ad soon.
mgreen Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 Nothing on the website either. Last year they gave us a heads up that the ads were coming, trying to be the ones letting the ads out.
Brad Posted October 18, 2022 Author Posted October 18, 2022 One possibility is that they are delaying the first 2 sales by a week. There was always that weird 2-week period between the 2nd and 3rd sale so maybe they are bunching them up closer this year? Or maybe just 1 or 2 sales. We'll find out soon enough. 1
BFAddict716 Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 (edited) The site is updating! No ad yet but we have confirmed start times... Edited October 19, 2022 by BFAddict716 2
HanShotFirst Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 CEO of Walmart US is giving an interview right now on the Today Show so maybe soon…. 1
Brad Posted October 19, 2022 Author Posted October 19, 2022 The site is updating! No ad yet but we have confirmed start times...Screenshot_20221019-080319_Samsung%20Internet.jpgYeah I saw that as well. Looks like the first sale is about a week later than it was last year, which can explain the ad not coming out when I thought it might.
ytmomof4 Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 Great news! Can’t wait to see the ad. Hopefully soon
Brad Posted October 19, 2022 Author Posted October 19, 2022 With the new sale dates, I think the ad hits either tonight, tomorrow night or Sunday night. They wouldn't do it on a Friday/Saturday night. 1
Brad Posted October 19, 2022 Author Posted October 19, 2022 Press release: https://corporate.walmart.com/newsroom/2022/10/19/walmarts-black-friday-deals-for-days-returns-with-more-savings-longer-events-and-earlier-access-for-walmart-members 3 sales, starting each Monday online, Wednesday in store (except for BF week which starts Friday in store). 2
Bopeep Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 "Like the past two years, Walmart will spread the excitement of Black Friday savings over three events throughout November" I mean, I get their point, but spreading it out over the whole month kind of takes away the "excitement" factor. Not saying it's not a good thing, it's just not an "exciting" thing anymore (imo) . 7

It is hard for me to get there during the week. Depending on what's on sale, I may pay for the plus membership for a month so I can buy early online. Edited October 19, 2022 by starbeck96 1
mastert1966 Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 I was a little let down with their sales from last year. I hope this year has better deals! Fingers crossed. 1

MariahA Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 The Wednesday thing kinda works out for me/our schedule aside from I'll have the kids with me so if I'm buying anything for them it'll be difficult. And it's going to mess with my usual grocery shopping I think it's a weird time of the week to be doing the sales though. 1
Brad Posted October 21, 2022 Author Posted October 21, 2022 I thought it would be last Sunday night. With the sale being moved forward about a week, this Sunday night seems like the perfect time. We'll see.

kellis4321 Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 I can't wait for this one. I hope it does come on Sunday night! I have my list made out for the most part and just patiently waiting for the ads!! 1
