mom2thegirls Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Keep your car cool Hats90 just sent me this. Anybody game enough to try it and report?
biomajor Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Not me--they don't say how much S&H is anywhere, and I'd be afraid that clicking really would order and they'd charge huge S&H
Hill00 Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 They had one of those at that Bryant Home websight....cause I was wondering about it.
able Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 hmm i wonder why it dont say shipping cost...i would buyy a bunch if it did and it wasnt over priced
hpowers Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 These have been around for years. I've always wondered how well they would work. I never have seen one used so maybe they aren't a good idea.
RossMAN Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Scroll down to read the reviews: http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf61299237.tip.html
allen6192 Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Hey Ross, do they have reviews for the Pasta Express? I thought that would be good to send to college with my son.

Cheapola Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Not me--they don't say how much S&H is anywhere, and I'd be afraid that clicking really would order and they'd charge huge S&H I took off the last of the web address and just went to the main webpage and it says this at the bottom for the 'normal' sale price.. Offer Details: Auto Cool keeps your car cooler no matter how long it's left in the sun. For only $14.99 and just $7.95 processing and handling this amazing, solar powered ventilation system makes a great gift anytime! Due to the high demand there is a limit of 6, per order. So $9.99 (internet sale price) + $7.95 s/h ?? - I dunno.. First post in a great while. :) -Dave

ghostkitten Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Hey Ross, do they have reviews for the Pasta Express? I thought that would be good to send to college with my son.I saw them Today in Walmart for $5.00...
CarpeDiem Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Pasta express is garbage the pasta turns out gross and my dad ended up cooking his hand in the process it tipped over while he was pouring the boiling water in it His hand plumped when it cooked tho it was bad
allen6192 Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 I took Ross' advice and googled it. Almost all reviews were that this was a very expensive piece of plastic.
AndreaInNC Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 So has anyone actually bought something that was seen on TV that worked???
biomajor Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 I have the Betty Crocker bake and fill pan set and I love it--I also have the spin something storage set--it works great too--but I bought both in the stores where I could look at them
Stowasser Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Oh I want one of those bake and fill pans, I make alot of birthday cakes. I like my spin storage thing too. I got the shed ender for our pets and it works pretty well, I got it off of ebay for half price and no shipping cost. I don't see where the pasta cooker is any different than keeping it in water and boiling it. You still have to heat water to put into the tube and as indicated above, someone got really burned by the container tipping over.
KBsDarling Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 I LOVE infomericals LOL I have the turbo cooker(big domed pan) and LOVE IT I wanted the bake and fill till i saw it in person...it seems so small...does it use a regualr size cake recipe?
allen6192 Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 I have the turbo cooker, also. Love it for "frying" pork chops & chicken.
d56nut Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I bought the Magic Bullet after seeing the infomercial but I bought it at Kohl's. I love it!!! The catch is to make sure to read the instruction book...otherwise you can end up with a mess. The only thing that I would say that is misleading in the infomercial is that they say any job can be done in 10 seconds. NOT! It takes a little longer than that on most things but it's still worth it. Especially since everything goes in the dishwasher. Michelle

It's fun to do!

Michellewell i got 2 from infomercial...and one is garbage..the motor was blown after like 5 uses...the other is excellent
miken5678 Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 I purchased the bullet also, it definetly is misleading as to how fast things get done on the mercial but it works well
