What's your Black Friday budget for this year?

No set budget as I am not sure what I need to buy. I will not wait until BF this year as I think most of the sales will be staggered but will still do some shopping on BF just because I LOVE BF.

I don't really budget for Christmas because the $ is not the most important measure.  I pay a lot less for a lot of things than retail, so equity is hardly ever measured in dollars.

That said, I have two iPhones on my list, so ...

Black Friday has become more of a time to shop for household items or things for myself over the years rather than gifts. Unless the lego set I really want goes on a steep discount I’m hoping to keep my spending on myself under $30 this year which would be an all time low. Normally I allow myself up to $100 before I would feel guilty. Because of covid I’m certain I will go into very few brick and mortar stores which will significantly reduce my impulse purchases.

As always, I don't really have a budget. I usually put money away, either in a Christmas Club account or just a certain amount in an envelope weekly, but haven't done either of those things this year. I do have more hours at work this year and am making more money so, at least till Christmas, I'm putting the difference between this school year and last school year in an envelope and will use that.

I've already been buying things for Christmas whenever I see a good deal so I don't do all my shopping at one specified time, eg. Black Friday. I will still go out that day though because it has been a tradition for more than 20 years now.

No Black Friday budget, per say. As the kids get older, the wants and needs change and I have had to make my shopping trends reflect that as well. Last year probably saw me doing the least amount of actual Black Friday shopping in a decade, easily.

That being said, I already know I need two tv’s, a gaming laptop, multiple video games and possibly an iPad. I am already jumping on deals I find as I do not think this will be the year to sit and wait.

Normally I don't have a budget but I just moved across the country so there will be a budget this year. I might do one toy and one outfit for each kid.

I never really ever set a budget. I just get what everyone wants.

My kids are older now, so there's not a whole lot they want or need. I am hoping to find a PS5 for oldest son since I got a Halo Xbox for youngest. Then they won't need much else. Maybe house things for all 3.

We just moved (today!) So I will definitely be looking for household things as well.

Really no set budget since we shop all year and have already picked up several gifts. We also put money into a Christmas club all year so we will get that check soon.

This has been a tough year for us financially.  My husband is self-employed (drywall) and has been in the same business for almost 24 years.  This is the first year that it has been this bad.  Thankfully, the last two months it has picked up and I am praying that it stays this way.

How much we spend on Christmas definitely depends on how well his business is going, but it will definitely be less than in the years past.  Some friends of ours invited our daughter to Disney World and they go in just a few weeks.  So, a lot of the money we would have been putting up for Christmas has gone to her trip instead (she only has to pay for food and souvenirs).

I have never been one to buy the newest phone. My motto is if it works, I will just keep using it. But with the rebates or discounts for the new iphone I am really considering trading in to get the latest version. The difference will be about 2-300 dollars and in the long run it will pay for itself.

I am definitely on a budget! I have 14 grandchildren now plus my children and their spouses. Parents and siblings etc.. Most of the grandkids are done but not all. Nothing for the adults yet either.

I'm in the non-budget group. I'm not buying holiday gifts, just shopping. I usually make a list throughout the year of things that come up that would be good to look for on black friday. I'm very patient, so I just wait.

Don't be to patient this year as the  selection and quantities will be limited

No budget.  I just have a limited amount of gifts to buy since no children or nieces/nephews.  Those I do buy don’t need nor want anything so here I am again this year, on the struggle bus.  I seem to live on that bus these days.

I normally have a budget. But this past year our family has had soooo many changes. With additions, sicknesses, moves, etc. I am not setting a budget this year. But plan to keep it to the minimal. Of course everyone will still get a new kohls big one!

Hopefully smaller than last year, lol... Playing it by ear this year... Oldest son gets married next month so my budget will be smaller I'm sure, but the price for everything has increased... My food budget for the holidays will be high and since all my kids are grown I don't have to spend much on them so most of the "budget" will go towards the kids on my list...

Im the same as most of you all,  no budget really,  I do calculate how much I spend though during the BF time, I will keep it under $200 but as the years go on, it seems like my BF shopping costs get smaller and smaller.
